It was a great history lesson of the shrine and temple. Rohan answered all of my questions. He spoke perfect english for an Australia whonhas lived in Japan for 35 years
Yu was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. She talked us through the latest trends on show In Harajuku and then about the history of the Shrine, the Royal Family and Shinto religion. We had a great 2 hours with her.

Our guide was Grant, an awesome person, funny, and sharing interesting stories and gossip about Tokyo and Japan. He makes the Meiji experience an unforgettable day. Our family really enjoyed this tour. We learned so much about Japanese culture, customs and history with a perfect mix of modern day Harajuku and the beautiful Meiji shrine. We were lucky to see a wedding procession that day at the shrine. Our guide Niko was very informative and friendly. The tour was only a few hours so you have the rest of the day to eat, shop and explore. Highly recommend.
