Si vous avez vu le Riverwalk et l'Alamo... c'est quelque chose de vraiment différent. Le district de King William a commencé dans les années 1860 lorsque les premiers lots ont été vendus. Cet emplacement est à quelques minutes du cœur de San Antonio. Située à côté des méandres de la rivière, vous serez subjugué par la grandeur de ces résidences. Écoutez les histoires derrière 40 maisons historiques où vivaient de nombreux citoyens les plus éminents de la ville. Voyez la belle résidence construite par celui qui a créé le premier soda à la crème glacée, le refuge de l'excentrique mondaine qui était enterrée dans sa Ferrari, et la maison où résidait l'inventeur de la chip de maïs. Il y a aussi la maison qui a eu les premières lumières électriques de la ville, la maison d'un célèbre ténor qui a chanté à la Maison Blanche et une autre où une écrivaine a commencé sa carrière. Quel rapport entre Elvis Presley, Lily Munster, Davy Crockett et Frank Sinatra et le roi William ? Écoutez ces histoires et bien d'autres lors de votre visite guidée à pied. We had a nice size group of 10 people. The walking tour started on time and lasted about 3 hours. Stewart is a wealth of interesting knowledge about the different homes and the people who owned them. He showed us extra photo information to enhance the experience. I highly recommend the adventure!
