We weren't able to take this tour. We were suppose to arrive by cruise ship but were unable to dock due to high winds. This tour company was aware what ship we were traveling with. We tried to contact the tour operator by phone, with no answer or opportunity to leave a message. Their policy is totally UNREASONABLE and I would never recommend this company to anyone!
The customer did not take the tour because the cruise ship was unable to dock due to adverse weather conditions. The cancellation was therefore caused by circumstances beyond our control. The customer received a full refund for the booking. Since the tour was never actually taken, we do not understand the reason for the one-star rating, as the review does not reflect the quality of the tour or the service provided. We are always happy to assist our customers, but unfortunately weather conditions and the ability of a cruise ship to dock are beyond our control.

The guides were a couple who didn’t even look professional. Picked us up in a dirty car. No uniforms No knowledge about the places At first I thought we were being pranked. I feel cheated
We are genuinely surprised by this review, especially as we have photos from the tour showing you smiling and enjoying gelato with us on the Amalfi Coast. Yes, your guides are a couple, and we see nothing unprofessional about that. We provide exclusive private tours, so we do not wear uniforms, as this is the personalized experience we offer. Throughout the day, we also offered gelato, granita, coffee, museum tickets, and even gifted you an ancient coin—a special souvenir that we have never given to any other guest. The tour was carried out exactly as described. Due to an unexpected issue, we used a replacement vehicle, but the itinerary and service remained unchanged. No concerns were raised during the tour. This review does not reflect the experience of the many guests who have left us over 60 positive reviews, and we remain committed to offering friendly, authentic, and personalized experiences..
We give this tour 5 stars out of 5. It was exceptional and Alberto an Nicola showed us their beautiful town of Salerno. Commentary was fabulous and we feel like we have 2 new friends. Castello Arechi (Arechi Castle) was a remarkable and imposing landmark of Salerno. We knew nothing about the castle but after walking through we left knowing about its history. We viewed the WWII bunker and had delicious lemon Granita which was so refreshing on the warm day. If you are visiting Salerno I recommend you book this tour as a priority. Excellent tour, very well led by Osvaldo (our guide), who took us to uncommon places with stunning views, finishing the tour with a stop at an extraordinary place where we could have some homemade ice cream with delicious lemon coffee. Everything was excellent, highly recommended; moreover, Osvaldo gives very good tips to complement the vacation.

We had a a wonderful day on September 9th with Osvaldo. He gave us a private, authentic tour by car of the historical sites of Salerno, including entry to the Norman castle that overlooks the city. His explanation of the Us military activities in the area during WW2 was very interesting, an aspect we hadn't thought about for the area. We also visited St Matthews Cathedral in the city and this has to be seen to be appreciated. The floors and inlaid marble in the crypt are awe inspiring. The highlight of the tour was a visit to a fig growers home on a hill overlooking a village on the Amalfi coast where we were served coffee with lemon and fig and almond ice cream over wine marinated figs. So delicious and the view is spectacular. We thoroughly recommend this tour if you want a local experience. Sandra and Rob, Australia
It was a disappointing tour. Our guide was lovely but information on Salerno and the locations was minimal. Instead of an air-conditioned comfortable vehicle, we were taken in our guides car, a small fiat shared with another 2 people. The only site that was worthwhile was the castle which had stunning views and there was no alcohol provided but some home made gelato and a bottle of water.

The other locations mentioned are part of the itinerary, and all guests are free to enjoy them as they wish. Regarding your comment about the experience, we believe that rating the tour with one star seems a bit excessive given the effort to provide a personalized and private experience.
