We had a fantastic time cycling around the beautiful scenery of Saint-Emilion. It was just the two of us with Bernadette, who was delightful and very knowledgeable. We visited the small Chateau La Rose Monturon, where Stefan passionately explained the highs and pitfalls of wine-making in a way that the large wineries don’t, giving a new insight into the process. The lunch was delicious and beautifully presented and I’d thoroughly recommend going to this chateau. Bernadette then took us to our final tasting in the town which was a convenient place to end our tour with her. The electric bikes were superb, making the routes uphill in 38 degrees heat easy! Thank you for a lovely day Bernadette; it was one of our highlights of our visit to France.
Beautiful scenery, relaxing, peaceful experience with a great guide and excellent winery tour of a small family run winery.
This was a fabulous e-bike tour with Bernadette. She was so friendly and just happy to be showing us around the St.Emilion country side. The visit to Chateau Monturon and passionate tour with owner Stephen was excellent plus the picnic lunch his wife made up for us was wonderful (sorry did not catch her name). The bike tour itself, down numerous roads past many vine yards, was amazing. Highly recommend this tour.
Wine country immersion at it's best. Caz was a flexible, fun and knowledgeable host. Every stop was an amazing and authentic experience with wine makers and wine lovers who added such magic and wonder to the day.
It's a fantastic experience, ours started in thick fog which turned into a beautiful sunny day. Unforgettable experience with great hosts and great wines in a stunning region. Cycling makes it even better. Couldn't recommend it high enough.
“We had such a wonderful time on our bike tour with Gaspar! He shared incredible knowledge about winemaking and the history of the region, and his attention and care throughout the ride made the experience even more enjoyable. A truly great experience—highly recommended!”
The Tour was through the beautiful vineyards and villages to a great little Chateau. Wine tasting, production tour and a really delicious lunch in a wonderful setting. The bikes made light work of the small hills. Easy to ride on good back roads. A very hot day, so thankfully little exertion! Our guide, Gaspard, a very knowledgable and interesting young guy with good stories and insights.
An unusual experience, travelling through the vineyards with a knowledgeable guide (fluent English speaker), learning about winemaking from the planting of the vines up to the bottling process, plus the opportunity to taste some unusual wines and enjoy a tasty lunch. Highly recommended!
Great guide. Very informative . Learned a lot & lots of good wine. Great way to see area. Beautiful scenery. Definitely recommend.
We booked this tour after it was recommended in a walking tour in Bordeaux and it certainly did not disappoint. Caz met us to start the tour and he was so lovely and accommodating from the start. It’s obvious a lot of time and thought has gone into this wine tour experience and it certainly showed by the fun that comes from it. It was easily one of my favourite holiday trips to date. We went to an incredible Vineyard (Chateau La Rose Monturon) and was met by wonderful hosts who let us try their incredible wine, made us a delightful lunch and gave an in depth view on the wine making process. After a bike back to Saint Emillion, we had a wine tasting with knowledgable expects to top it all off. Everything from the scenic cycle, to Caz and the excellent service made for a special day I will not forget.
