This tour was extremely informative and interesting - all of the must see locations in Saigon. This was absolutely a must for getting personalized knowledge and learning about the history of the city, the buildings and the people of Saigon. Our Tour Guide was really friendly and would point out personal locations such as the schools he went to growing up and shared a bit about his family living here.
Personalized English speaking guide with a local driver is a wonderful way to maximize sites when you only have 1 day to see as much as you want.
Talented guide. Knowledgeable. Very cooperative. Good manners. Friendly. The car was spotless. The driver was careful. Good a/c. Didn't have to walk much.
Great private city tour lead by an enthusiastic local guide who was full of history and pride for Vietnam. Nice and cool in the car!!
Not as described! Prior to booking, I was promised an English-speaking guide, an air-conditioned vehicle, and unlimited water. However, the actual experience fell far short of these expectations. After making my booking, I was first contacted by a guy with limited English. I asked him if he was my guide for the day because I couldn't understand him very well and he told me no. Then a woman called me and told me that she would be my guide for the day but requested an additional $15 for pick-up, despite the advertised free pick-up service from your Saigon location. Upon refusing the extra payment, she abruptly ended the conversation. Shortly after, the initial guy appeared at my pick-up location as my guide and arrived in a Grab car, which was unexpected and not up to the standard I had anticipated. Throughout the tour, this guy's limited English made it difficult to understand his explanations about the landmarks. Additionally, the tour provided only one bottle of water, far from the promised "unlimited water" offer. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against booking this tour to avoid similar disappointments! Keep looking for another tour!
Great way to see the city with good breaks in an Air conditioned car. Guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot while seeing a lot in the four hours
Tour guide was great in explaining in detail. Overall the tour was nice with flexibility to visit key monuments in short time. The vehicle was comfortable and was communicated well on the trip, on time arrival.
We had a great tour. We developed a whole new understanding of the Vietnamese people and their struggles for independence and freedom.
Khanh was an amazing guide for the half day city tour. She spoke brilliant English, was extremely knowledgeable on the history and the city and was very friendly. We had a fabulous day.
Our couple of clothes and 1 pair of shoes were stolen from our 2 seperate luggage while we were out of the private car to make the spots visits during the tour. And it was really intentional search in our 2 luggage, as expensive brand ones were picked. When we messaged the tour guide and mentioning that we were sure it happened during the tour, they didn't deny it. They even send the photo of the clothes and shoes they picked up. But they just mentioned that they were dropped out of lugagge(s) in the trunk. What a convincing story: From 2 different zippered(closed) luggage(s) only expensive branded clothes and an expensive brand pair of shoes were dropped despite being in different locations of the luaggeges. And none of us saw this(!!!) while taking our luggage from the trunk. They returned our belongings to our friend's hotel who was visiting the city after we left it.
Be careful what you are writing. After finishing the 2-day tour, you flew to Da Nang and reported losing some clothes and I checkd the driver and it was in a black bag under your seat. I sent a message via viator and asked you if you agree, the driver and the police will come to the Parkyatt hotel to check because driver said that when you checked out your bag was hanging on the suitcase and not in the suitcase. But no reply from you. If driver had taken it, they would have denied it and no need to waste too much time running to send it back.
