We booked the child-friendly morning safari as a family with our 2 young children 4 and 1.5 years. Hotel pick-up is included in the price and prior attention was paid to the needs with our children and the car was equipped with appropriate child seats. After the pickup we headed towards the desert and we started riding camels. After the camel ride Sharaf led us safely through the desert and we were still able to enjoy the beautiful landscape. Also some camels crossed our path 🐪 Sharaf also took super nice family photos of us during stops and had also shown sensitivity when driving through the desert with children. Our kids really enjoyed it. After the desert safari we went back to the hotel and we could still enjoy the day at the hotel in the afternoon. Before the trip we were not sure if the tour was suitable for toddlers, after the experience I can say that it also works great with toddlers. Great trip to the desert with out guide. He was on time for pick up and took us straight to the desert where we could try quad biking and ride a camel for an additional cost. We then went dune bashing and tried sandboarding. Would recommend the trip. It was great to just be as a family with our guide rather than in a big group of jeeps.

Ajmal was great with the children, he tailored the trip to suit them. He took all of the photographs so we could enjoy ourselves.

Before I go in to detail and you don’t want to read on. Just book your tour with this company it’s as simple as that. They are the best! To begin, I had arranged this tour before visiting Dubai with my family (children aged 15 & 7) I wanted to make sure everything was perfect before hand. The communications from the booking team was incredible every single question I had they answered and ensured they could accommodate my requests. I required a booster seat for my youngest which was no issue. The day before the trip our driver Sharaf contacted to confirm our pick up location which was very clear between us both so that also reassured me that we would be off to a good start. The morning of the tour Sharaf was there before the scheduled time of pick up and was extremely polite and helpful when we met him. I have to say Sharaf is a 1 of a kind human. He was so kind, polite, helpful and extremely knowledgable regarding everything in Dubai. Unfortately for us my youngest was ill the morning of the trip but wanted to continue on and experience the desert. This was no hassle for Sharaf who made it very clear anything we want to do or that he could do to help he would do. Upon arrival to the site, we were given water and had an offering of taking a buggy to do some dune bashing (at an extra cost but most certainly worth it!) so we did just that and Sharaf also explained to the guide to take us on a calmer route in the desert for our buggy experience. It was perfect all done at a pace that suited us. When we got back to the base from the buggy we then had the opportunity to go on a camel which we did and again that was great. After this, the plan was for Sharaf to then take us with him in his Land Cruiser on desert safari but unfortunately my youngest felt ill again by this point to which he had no issue with us ending the tour early and taking us back to our apartment. I want to give the biggest thanks to Sharaf you really are a credit to this company. The whole journey back home we had a great chat and he was continuously checking in asking if our youngest was okay. You have to book your desert safari with Khat Tours they are SIMPLY THE BEST! Thank you once more you gave us such a good experience even though we had to end it early.

The whole private tour with my two young kids (one and four) were great. The driver is very nice and the desert has finest sand I have ever seen. We did camel ride and quad bike with extra charges . It was a lot of fun.

We had a fantastic morning in the desert. Ours kids loved the experience. It was so peaceful and beautiful and we felt like we were the only people there. When my daughter got scared the drive was changed accordingly much to my son’s disappointment. We would go again tomorrow if we could.

Sharaf was our guide and he was amazing. Kids had great fun, very safe and informative tour. Must try for those visiting dubai with kids
