Notre guide nous aidera à repérer certains de ces animaux alors que nous descendons la rivière à la recherche de notre objectif principal : les crocodiles, il y a une importante population de ces géants vivant sur cette rivière. Vous vous immergerez dans un écosystème spécial : la forêt sèche de la galerie, avec de gigantesques kapoks, des figuiers, des hévéas et des arbres côtiers qui abritent de nombreuses espèces d'animaux tels que des singes, des chauves-souris, des lézards, des oiseaux, des iguanes, etc. Ce voyage est une combinaison de tranquillité incroyable et d'un peu d'aventure lorsque vous passez des rapides de classe 1 ou 2 très sûrs, une excellente façon de profiter de vos vacances à Guanacaste. Flottant pendant environ 2 heures sur un radeau, sur la rivière Corobicí ou Tenorio (selon le niveau de l'eau), vous vous immergerez dans un écosystème particulier : la forêt galerie sèche, avec de gigantesques kapoks, figuiers, hévéas et arbres de rivage qui accueille de nombreuses espèces d'animaux tels que des singes, des chauves-souris, des lézards, des oiseaux, des iguanes et plus encore. Après le safari flottant, la visite continue jusqu'à la cascade de Llanos de Cortés, accessible en descendant un sentier d'environ 74 marches. Cette magnifique cascade, entourée de forêt tropicale, offre un environnement agréable pour profiter d'une baignade rafraîchissante ou simplement se détendre dans un paysage paisible rempli de végétation et de sons naturels.

We had such a great guide and driver. They were very nice and taught us so much about the culture and history of the area. I felt safe and very respected. They had snacks, water, drinks for us too. Loved the tour and our guide, plus driver!

Stevenson our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Adrian our driver was safe and courteous. We were up with close bats, crocodiles ,egrets, lizards, howler monkeys and osprey. Our Captain Alberth (Colon) was super at guiding through the rapids and calm river and providing up close photo ops. We were served delicious local pineapple and beverages after our tour. We had a tasty lunch at Rincon Coribici Restaurant. Wonderful food, excellent service and a beautiful view!
This was easily my favorite excursion of our trip! We used it as a break between our drive from Arenal to Tamarindo. Norman was our driver and was so kind and personable! Our float guides, Jose and Josef (father/son duo), were so knowledgeable and fun to talk to while we were floating down the river! It was so nice and the food after was delicious!
Very enjoyable trip was amazing rafting down the river with the guide showing us all the wildlife saw lots of Birds, Lizards and Crocodiles. Very easy conditions for children and really well looked after by the guide. Had a fantastic lunch overlooking the river and a trip to the waterfall on the way back. Had the tour to ourselves.
What an amazing experience! Our guide was so incredibly knowledgeable and told us so much about Costa Rica, la fortunate and mostly about nature! We got to see howler monkeys, capuchins, bats, sloths, birds and much more! I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see animals in their natural habitat! You will not be disappointed!
It was a tour through cruse ship, Royal Princess. We were taken to the stating point and restaurant. where we had brief orientation. We were 6 plus our guide and pilot on a zodiac boat. There were about 8 such boats launched with us. It was very clam slow flowing river at this time of the year. (March 2019)
