Ce safari d'une demi-journée dans le parc national de Minneriya vous donnera l'occasion d'assister à un grand nombre d'éléphants sri-lankais attirés par les prairies sur les bords du réservoir pendant la saison sèche. Le réservoir Minneriya contribue à maintenir un grand troupeau. Les éléphants rassemblés ici sont au nombre de 150 à 200. Certains rapports indiquent que le nombre d'éléphants pourrait atteindre 700. Ils migrent ici depuis le parc national de Wasgamuwa et bénéficient de la nourriture et d'un abri de la forêt du parc. Les touristes visitent Minneriya en grande partie à cause des éléphants, en particulier pendant la saison sèche.

Vous serez pris en charge à Sigiriya par notre chauffeur de jeep et emmené pour profiter d'un safari aventureux d'une demi-journée au parc national de Minneriya. À votre arrivée au parc, vous pourrez profiter d'un mémorable safari en jeep de 3 heures avec notre équipe. Le parc national de Minneriya est déclaré comme le plus grand rassemblement d'éléphants d'Asie sauvage connu à un endroit dans le monde. Les espèces fauniques du parc national comprennent 24 espèces de mammifères, 160 espèces d'oiseaux, 9 espèces d'amphibiens, 25 espèces de reptiles, 26 espèces de poissons et 75 espèces de papillons. Ce safari d'une demi-journée dans le parc national de Minneriya vous permet principalement de repérer 100 éléphants sauvages à la fois. Après le safari, vous serez ramené à votre hôtel à Dambulla.

I visited Sri Lanka for two weeks and absolutely loved it! The people were super friendly and the food was delicious. If you're into wildlife safaris, I highly recommend Minneriya it’s the perfect spot, especially for elephant lovers ❤️
Our hostel ”New Dambulla city hostel” arranged a safari jeep to pick us up at the hostel and drove us straight to the safari. The safari was great and we saw alot of amazing elephants which was a really nice experience!

Hello, early in the morning we start the safari. We were picked up in front of our hostel. (The Dambulla City Hostel, a beautiful place where we had a good time). After that, the guide showed us beautiful places in the minneriya park. We also saw lots of elephants! That was really amazing to come them that close. :) The guide was very friendly & we also got a lunchbox at the beginning of the tour.
