Safari 4x4 en jeep à Madère : Porto Moniz, Lava Pools & Fanal Forest

Notre aventure en 4x4 commence à Cabo Girão, la célèbre "SKYWALK", la deuxième plus haute falaise d'Europe avec une hauteur incroyable de 580 mètres. Nous continuons par des routes sinueuses jusqu'à Ribeira Brava, où se dresse l'église São Bento, datant du XVIe siècle, qui offre une vue imprenable sur l'océan. Ensuite, nous arrivons à Ponta do Sol, l'endroit le plus ensoleillé de l'île, entouré de falaises spectaculaires. Nous montons à Paul da Serra, le seul plateau de Madère, souvent enveloppé de brouillard, qui contraste avec les zones côtières luxuriantes. En descendant, nous arrivons à Porto Moniz, célèbre pour ses piscines naturelles de lave. Le long de la côte, la Ribeira da Janela enchante par ses colonnes de basalte. À Seixal, nous admirons la plage de sable noir et les piscines naturelles aux eaux cristallines. Nous terminons à Câmarade Lobos, le village de pêcheurs visité par Churchill, avant de porter un toast à la riche tradition vinicole de Madère dans la cave Henriques & Henriques, clôturant ainsi une journée inoubliable.

Après la prise en charge, nous ferons le premier arrêt à Miradouro do Pico da Torre où vous pourrez profiter de la magnifique baie de Câmara de Lobos, suivi d'un tout-terrain.
Avec ses 580 mètres d'altitude, Cabo Girão est le promontoire le plus haut d'Europe, mais ce n'est pas la seule raison pour laquelle il est devenu de plus en plus célèbre dans le monde entier. Son point de vue, avec la célèbre plate-forme de verre suspendue — appelée skywalk — est actuellement l'une des attractions touristiques les plus visitées (et certainement les plus photographiées) de la municipalité de Câmara de Lobos et de l'archipel de Madère.
Ribeira Brava est connue pour sa vaste vallée, découverte au XVe siècle, offrant un climat idéal pour les bananes et la canne à sucre.
Après avoir quitté Ribeira Brava, nous passerons par Ponta de Sol pour admirer le village qui fut un point important pour les exportations à la fin du XIXe siècle. Après cela, nous nous arrêterons pour prendre un café, aller aux toilettes et tout ce dont les clients ont besoin.
Avec son paysage naturel unique, Paul da Serra est un point d'intérêt unique sur l'île de Madère. C'est le plus grand plateau montagneux de tout l'archipel. C'est donc l'un des points d'intérêt les plus importants (et les plus incontournables) de la commune de Ponta do Sol. À une altitude moyenne de 1 500 mètres, Paul da Serra offre des vues imprenables sur les pics montagneux et les vallées profondes qui marquent ses environs. Les jours où la visibilité est bonne, vous pouvez voir le littoral de la côte sud à la côte nord. Cependant, le paysage est dominé par les tons verts de la nature.
Situé entre les montagnes de Seixal et de Ribeira da Janela, le Fanal est une vaste zone forestière qui vous invite à profiter tranquillement de ce que la nature a de mieux à vous offrir. Cet endroit idyllique est l'un des lieux les plus emblématiques de la commune de Porto Moniz et abrite un paysage d'une grande beauté.
Nous ferons un merveilleux arrêt à Ribeira da Janela avec un chemin vers une petite grotte où vous aurez une splendide vue panoramique sur le bleu de l'Atlantique.
Nous nous arrêtons à Porto Moniz pour le déjeuner, où vous pourrez vous promener et profiter de l'un des plus beaux endroits de notre île. (L'HEURE À CET ENDROIT PEUT VARIER)
Arrêtez-vous pour admirer la magnifique plage naturelle de sable noir.
En fin de journée, nous retournons à Câmara de Lobos pour nous rendre à l'usine de vin de Madère, où nous ferons une dégustation des délicieux vins de Madère. (UNIQUEMENT DU LUNDI AU VENDREDI)

Complete tour of the west. In Fanal I think we spent too little time. If you want to swim in the natural pools you have to bring a picnic for lunch otherwise there won't be time. Professional company and good driver Miguel Franco

We had been staying in Funchal, and thought that with the price of taxis and the length of time buses take, we wouldn’t be able to see many of the sights on the west or north of the island. Fortunately we found Miguel’s tour. The value for money was fantastic, Miguel was a very informative tour guide who genuinely cares about the quality of tour. He knows a lot about the island and ensures that everybody has a safe and enjoyable trip. The pick up was exactly on time and the fact that he comes to pick you up and drop you off after the tour is excellent. It was a fantastic day that allowed us to enjoy the island in all its beauty and he ensured we had sufficient time at every location, but not too much where we got bored or ran out of things to do. I would highly recommend going with Miguel for the tour.

We had an amazing experience on the 4x4 West & North tour in Madeira! Miguel was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making the whole trip enjoyable from start to finish.
