Les ruines mayas de Chacchoben sont l'attraction la plus populaire et la plus visitée pour passer une belle journée sur la Costa Maya. Il se trouve à environ 55 minutes en voiture du port de Costa Maya. Ce site est situé à quelques kilomètres de la ville de Chacchoben d'où son nom. La traduction du mot maya « Chacchoben » fait référence à « la place du maïs rouge ». Les structures de ce site sont caractérisées par de grands temples et d'énormes plates-formes datant de 700 après JC. c.

À votre arrivée au port de Costa Maya, après avoir débarqué de votre bateau de croisière, vous devrez vous rendre à la sortie principale où se trouvent les taxis jaunes, là nous avons un transport avec notre logo et l'un de nos chauffeurs peut vous emmener directement à notre bureau où nous vous enregistrerons. Vous attendrez environ 15 minutes avant de partir pour votre excursion et vous pourrez profiter d'une boisson gratuite, puis partirez pour votre premier arrêt à la zone archéologique de Chacchoben qui prendra environ une heure pour arriver.

Excellent experience with The Native Choice. I did the Chacchoben and Bacalar tour while traveling solo, and I felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. The tour itself was very interesting and well balanced, combining the history and culture of Chacchoben with the beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere of Bacalar. Eric was an excellent guide, very friendly, attentive, and informative, and Roger was also a great driver. Both of them made the whole experience feel very welcoming and enjoyable. The only thing to keep in mind is that the Native Choice kiosk is a bit of a walk from the cruise port. Other than that, everything was very well organized and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially to solo travelers.
miscommunication! tour guide unable to respond to questions in a timely manner! it was a anniversary cruise that was affected by tours that were impacted by not keeping passengers on a cruise updated with time frames. it also involved 4 hours of travel time to and from ship. i would not advise doing this tour guide. i would do another experience. also book through cruise line bc its the only way its guaranteed!!! not viator

An absolute highlight of our trip! Our driver (Victor) was engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. The small group size made it feel personal. Highly recommend this tour to anyone!

We had an amazing time. Luis was our personal tour guide. We were able to see the Chaccoben ruins AND the seven color lagoon. Most of the tours were either or, so if you don’t want to spend hours in the sweltering heat just to see the ruins, pick this tour because it was just the right amount of time at both locations. The tacos at the lagoon were amazing. I would come back just to spend a few days at the lagoon. There are lots of hotels and resorts in the area.
Ruins were great! Saw some monkeys as well. Seven color Lagoon Baclar was amazing. Victor our guide brought us right to the perfect spot, lunch was great and the water was amazing
Toucan tours went beyond above and beyond. The lagoons were beautiful and a great break from people. Everything was very well planned. Food and drinks included were outstanding. We were so lucky to have Rual, he was so kind and helpful. Thank you!
We loved it ! Our guide was Huitzi and he was great ! He was really helpful and went out of his way to accomodate us. We loved the temple and the blue lagoon was beautiful. He made sure to bring us back way on time for our ship.
