Albert was awesome. Great experience.
The Tour guide Paul was incredible. Not only did he give us a great tour experience, he went above and beyond in every sense imaginable. The people we have met in Belize have been kind, Paul tops the list. This is a great tour and you will be well taken care of. I highly recommend!
This experience was epic! We were staying in San Pedro, so we had to wake up early and catch the water taxi to Belize City. Tahoe (tour guide) picked us up at the port. Drove us to the Mayan ruins in a very comfortable Chevy Traverse. Tahoe handled everything for us. He also provided a very entertaining history of Belize along the route to the ruins. Once there, Tahoe displayed an impressive knowledge of the ruins, it's history, Mayan facts, pointed out interesting flora and fauna. After we stopped for lunch, it was a little local place, very nice, delicious and authentic local delicacy. Next the caves, beautiful and easy walk through the rainforest. Again, Tahoe showed us tons of interesting plants, insects, and animals. During the cave tubing Tahoe made the trip super easy, keeping us from bumping into the sides and walls ect. Very relaxing. Every part of this adventure deserves 5 stars. Perfect day.
This was an outstanding excursion! Our guide was friendly, professional, and so knowledgeable. We had an air-conditioned and comfortable ride throughout. By taking this tour, we arrived to each destination ahead of the cruise ship busses. We stopped for lunch at the Teaky Tavern and enjoyed delicious food with excellent service. This is also a hidden gem of Belize! The landscape is lush, and the ruins are magnificent. Be sure to bring bug spray. The cave tubing is quite the adventure, so bring your waterproof camera case to take pictures. Our guide Linden provided an interactive, interesting, and fun-filled experience. We made memories to last a lifetime on this excursion!
Wow—thank you for such a fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear your excursion with Private Belize Adventure was a memorable one. Linden will be happy to know he made your experience interactive, fun, and unforgettable! We love getting ahead of the cruise ship crowds—it’s one of the perks of going private—and we're so glad you enjoyed the comfort, the incredible views, and that tasty stop at Teaky Tavern (we agree, total hidden gem!). Great tips too—bug spray and waterproof camera cases are definitely adventure essentials in Belize! Thanks again for exploring with us and for letting us be part of your lifetime memories. We hope to see you again for another adventure soon!
Our guide Paul was amazing. We enjoyed the tour of the Mayan ruins and the float through the caves. We learned a lot about Belize and the Mayan history.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear you had a great time exploring the Mayan ruins and floating through the caves with Paul—he’s truly passionate about sharing the beauty and history of Belize. Altuna Mayan Ruins and Cave tubing were a blast. Peter was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and fun loving. I found the strong creole accent hard to understand.
Thank you for your feedback! We're so glad you had a blast exploring Altun Ha and cave tubing—two of our favorite adventures! Peter will be happy to hear you appreciated his knowledge and fun-loving energy. We understand that the Creole accent can sometimes be a bit tricky to catch, especially on a first visit. We appreciate your patience and hope it added a little extra Belizean flavor to the experience! Thank you again for choosing Private Belize Adventure—we’d love to welcome you back anytime!

The tour guide Tarik was excellent is all he did on the trip out to the ruins. Stopping is picking up some local foods for us to experience. Then at the ruins he was very knowledgeable about everything. Then it got even better at the Cave Tubing where once again Tarik made it very informative and FUN! BUT, Belize City was VERY SKETCHEE and we did not go out at night. When I learned we could have set it up and stayed in San Pedro I really wished we had done that.
We had a great guide.! The ride to Xunantunich is worth it. It’s beautiful and a great chance to see and learn about inland Belize and Belizean Culture! Cave tubing was awesome. Stopped and ate at Amigos on the way back - at the suggestion of our guide - and it was also great!

Our guide, Pablo, made this truly a wonderful experience. He was an amazing guide! He was so knowledgeable and made the trip both educational and fun! Great jokes too! We enjoyed his tour of the ruins and an authentic local lunch. Our local guide, Rosa, took us on our way through tubing in the cave and again, she too was very knowledgeable and friendly. A perfect day for my family and I. Highly recommend!!!!
