Great experience, tour guide Amy was enthusiastic and entertaining throughout the tour, 100% recommend
My party enjoyed the tour, the explanation of the inner workings of the clock, and the views from the top of the liver building. I was unable to join them as I could not navigate the steps because of recent ankle surgery and could not take the full tour. Unfortunately trip advisor would not provide me a refund retroactively for the cost of the ticket. Others should be aware of this policy if they have mobility limitations.
Very informative, excellent panoramic views, building description boards, but the immersive digital display of Liverpools history inside the clock tower was my highlight, it was amazing. The story of the Liver Birds Bertie and Bella was also very well delivered. There is also an interative exhibition area and gift shop. If I had one small comment, I think the guide should were a microphone as it was quite hard to hear at times when people were in the exhibit area.
Well organised experiance. Interesting, (Well done to Josh). Spaced out with mini breaks going up between stair climbs with good hand supports. (Lift to 10th floor!). Plenty of times to take photos. Even on the hottest days... it was nice and fresh on top! Advisory - there are toilets in the reception area so make sure you go before your tour. Very good.
Enjoyed the whole experience. Our guide Adam was engaging from the start and imparted so much history of this fantastic building. He fielded many questions with ease and was very polished throughout. Luckily the weather was good and as you would expect the views were stunning. The Clock Tower was interesting and I enjoyed the video presentation thoroughly. Great value too.
Thank you for your lovely review Christine, we're so glad you enjoyed the tour and that Adam was so helpful!
Disappointed with our experience - our female guide (Camille?) was asked to speak more slowly at the beginning of the tour, she apologised but it made no difference to the speed, no idea where her accent came from, it wasn't Liverpool. Overall, heard MORE about her likes and dislikes throughout tour. There is not a lot to see, the film show in the clock mechanism room could have shown how the actual building was constructed before merging into the kalidescope of images, colour and sound - difficult to follow, too much shown in too short a time to make sense and a bad idea to project on 3 sides which didn't help. The only saving grace was the views from the two viewing platforms - we were coming down when another guide (male) arrived, I wanted to stay and hear him because he was explaining the places of interest to his visitors WITHOUT personal comment!! If we had a different guide, don't know if I would have rated our tour higher? Would I recommend this tour - no.
We're really sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your visit with us. The audio visual experience in the clocktower uses the architecture of the room and in particular the clockfaces as the display to help show the story. It also highlights other areas of the city's culture such as sport, music and events as its important to showcase the wider history and how that has developed since the building opened in 1911. Thank you for taking the time to feedback and we will pass your comments to the team.
Very worth it, the guide gave a lot of historical context and gave us great tips on the city Highly recommend, easy to get up there and beautiful views
Thank you for your review Filipa, we're glad you enjoyed the tour!
Easy to find, well organised, informative guide & lovely weather for the views from the top. Nice that the group I was in was quite small as felt like more of a personal experience

Nice tour with an interesting, friendly tour guide. Great views from the top. There is a projector show half way through the tour which we thought was amazing
