Description
Route du Sillar, Points de vue de la vallée et des volcans Nous entrons au milieu d'immenses farellones en pierre volcanique de 30 mètres de haut sculptées "à combiner et ciseler", façades et sculptures coloniales. Ici, nous aurons un moment illustre avec les maîtres tailleurs de pierre, connus sous le nom de "cutters". Ils dévoileront leurs techniques de travail en direct afin que nous puissions le faire plus tard de nos propres mains. Nous verrons des chutes de blocs géants et la merveilleuse expérience de regarder de petits blocs de pierre de taille fabriqués avec des instruments ancestraux utilisés de génération en génération. En route pour le Mirador de Carmen Alto !!! Nous visiterons les points de vue traditionnels et incontournables d'Arequipa, du Mirador de Carmen Alto pour apprécier la vallée de Chilina et nos 3 volcans, Chachani, Misti et Pichupichu. Le deuxième point de vue est à Yanahuara. Ici, nous allons manger de riches desserts traditionnels et acheter des souvenirs uniques faits à la main sur la place.

Not that exciting and interactive as I was hoping it would be. Our tour guide and driver were very nice.
I´m sorry you didn´t enjoy the areas we visited :( the places are very cultural and maybe not interactive as you say :( We´ll be more than happy to arrange something to leave you with a good taste after Arequipa :)
Wonderful and amazing!!! Thankful for the kindness of the travel agents, patience and willingness in case of doubts or inconvenience that arose to assemble the itinerary according to our tastes! This was an amazing tour of the Ruta de Sillar, including stops at the Mirador de Yanahuara and Mirador de Carmen Alto. Our guide Olivia was fantastic at providing us with information and answering any questions we had. It was also very convenient that the tour company offered to pick us up and drop us off at our hotel directly. We appreciated their timeliness, hospitality, and knowledge of the area and culture.

Our trip to Sillar was on time, comprehensive, and good value for money. Everything was included, including water and entry. The car was clean, working seatbelts, and safe driving. Our guide, Sline, was so knowledgeable and always had something to add. We never felt rushed. At the mine, we saw other groups stop for 15 minutes to take photos and go, while we walked through and were given explanations of the statues' significance, cost, etc. So I was glad to be on my tour. I would recommend it for a casual morning out.

The tour of the quarry was awesome but also a little sad to see the craftsman working in that heat... I loved Yanahuara District!! It is a beautiful district with a great viewpoint:) Also has the most beautiful park with fountain in the middle.
