Les collines de Bombay sont une chaîne de collines au sud d'Auckland, en Nouvelle-Zélande. Bien qu'il ne s'agisse que d'une chaîne de collines petite et apparemment insignifiante, elles se trouvent à la limite sud de la région d'Auckland et servent de ligne de partage entre Auckland et la région de Waikato. directement nommé d'après le navire Bombay, le navire lui-même a été nommé d'après la ville indienne de Bombay (aujourd'hui Mumbai). Nous traverserons également la ville unique de Tirau (la capitale mondiale de la sculpture en tôle ondulée) connue pour ses antiquaires et ses bâtiments en tôle ondulée en forme d'animaux.
Soyez témoin des guerriers féroces naviguant dans le canoë de guerre le long des eaux tranquilles du ruisseau Wai-o-Whiro et plongez-vous dans de riches spectacles culturels tels que le Wero, le Pōwhiri (bienvenue traditionnelle des Maoris), le Waiata (chant), le Mōteatea (chant traditionnel), le Poi, le Haka et bien plus encore. Notre deuxième destination est Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, l'une des zones géothermiques les plus colorées et les plus diversifiées de Nouvelle-Zélande. Des milliers d'années de création et « l'un des 20 endroits les plus surréalistes au monde ». Ce paysage époustouflant est niché dans un cadre de brousse naturelle à travers lequel des promenades autoguidées durent entre 45 et 90 minutes. Une promenade dans cet environnement surréaliste et lunaire offre la chance d'observer certaines des merveilles volcaniques et un large éventail d'opportunités de photos étonnantes dans des caractéristiques uniques, notamment la piscine de champagne de renommée mondiale, des sources chaudes et froides naturellement colorées, un bain du diable, de la boue bouillonnante, un sol fumant, des vues panoramiques, d'énormes cratères volcaniques et des formations de terrasses de sinter. Avec une expérience colorée, nous rapportons nos souvenirs jusqu'à Auckland.
Après une expérience exaltante et amusante à Rotorua, il est maintenant temps de retourner à Auckland pour conclure votre soirée et vous déposer à votre hôtel à Auckland. Nous pouvons également vous déposer à votre hébergement à Rotorua si vous séjournez dans la région.

This is our first time engaging ExperienceKart for a guided tour to Mitai Village and Waiotapu Thermal and we had nothing but a blast! We were greeted by our super friendly tour guide, Mr Karthik at the meeting point and he put us all at ease from the get go. He was such a gem, providing us with nuggets of information all through our drive from Auckland hotel to Rotorua and his enthusiasm kept us all engaged on the tour. The tour van was super comfortable and came with foldable tables for us to eat our snacks and breakfast in the van. We highly recommend Mr Karthik and his company for anyone interested in this tour and we will definitely come back for more!

The Māori experience was educational, fun and interactive. I’m a First Nation Ojibwe woman from Ontario Canada and there are similarities in our cultures and beliefs. The feast of traditional Māori food was delicious. The interesting features like the champagne pool, craters and blowholes and rock formations in the geothermal area was something I’d never experienced. Karthik has a wealth of knowledge that he gladly shares with the group. Karthik’s driving skills focused on safety for us all.

EVERYTHING about this tour was 10/10. I was very moved with the Mitai Maori Village demonstrations/performances and the lunch was better than i expected! I was hesitant to sign up for the Wai-o-tupa geothermal tour but my husband and I are SO GLAD we did it! We didn’t have much time at the Agrodome sheep farm but it was still very interesting. Our guide, Karthik, was very professional & friendly! His vehicle was clean & comfortable for the long ride (equipped with wifi) and he shared a wealth of knowledge about NZ. He takes great photos too!

Our trip to the Mitai Māori Village and Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland was perfect. Highly recommend you request Karthik as your tour guide. He provided excellent information during the trip that made the 3 ride both enjoyable and educational. The Māori performance was quite entertaining as the performers and hosts gave an authentic show. And, the FOOD! Served buffet style, was quite plentiful and tasty. The trip to the Waitipi geothermal park was very fascinating. I just wish the photos could provide the true “aromas” we experienced! LOL. Even though the ride out and back was three hours each way, it was well worth it! Overall, I highly recommend this tour and Karthik as your guide.
