My friend and I took the tour when we were in Jamaica. We had read about the tour and watched a documentary about it before and my daughter had been on the night tour in June. It was very interesting. The guide gave us a lot of information about the residents and the history of the house as well as some Jamaica history. The scenery at the house was beautiful. If you like ghost tours and folklore you will love this tour.
We booked a daytime tour through the independent tour company 'Kiuki' when in our hotel, at half the price our tour operator was offering for the same itinerary. It was absolutely brilliant and our guide was incredible. Her depth of knowledge was tremendous and she delivered the information very clearly and professionally. She covered the history of the house and surrounding estate, from it's creation to it's restoration and renewal. The information about it's most notorious inhabitant, Annie Palmer, the White Witch of Rose Hall, was both chilling and numerous at the same time! I can't recommend this tour enough, and if you're really brave, the nighttime 'haunted' version!
We went on this tour with our children aged 10 and 12. We all really enjoyed hearing about the history of the house. The tour guide was very informative. The view from the house and garden is beautiful.

Overall, this is a great experience not too far from the city got to learn a lot about grey houses of Jamaica
I took a shore excursion to Rose Hall Great House, built in 1770). Guide Erica gave am excellent tour of the house. She told the story of Annie Palmer. According to legend, she is the White Witch of Rose Hall. She murdered three husbands and was herself killed by her lover. The house was abandoned in the 19th century and lay in ruins for over a century. When it was purchased in 1965, the new owner restored the house and turned it into a museum.

I loved this experience. Loved learning about the history and seeing Annie's tomb. I highly recommend
I had never heard this story before, and it was something I discovered during my private tour with my driver. The mansion itself is just wow — and so is its history. Very knowledgeable guides. Bring some cash to tip them; they work hard. And grab something from the gift shop. The trip is totally worth it!
My husband and I booked the Annee's Escape Bundle - WORTH EVERY PENNY! Only way to see everything and on a very personalized level. It is only $129 USD and what you get as part of the tour truly is an incredible deal/value for literally a FULL DAY (5-6 hours). It included not only BOTH of the house tours (Rose Hall & Cinnamon Hill) but then also shopping AND food (WHICH WAS SO DELICIOUS!!). Angele Nunez and our two other tour guides at the houses were absolutely incredible and the tours were private! Just us! We learned SO MUCH about the history and stories, and also got to experience Montego Bay off the resort (we stayed at an all-inclusive). We literally got door-to-door service from our resort, so we didn't have to worry about logistics it was all taken care of! Highly recommend for anyone and everyone - couples, families, you name it. Like we said, WORTH EVERY PENNY, worth the time, and the only way to see it all!
