Visite guidée de Rome à Pompéi avec vin et déjeuner en train à grande vitesse

Description

Great tour - tour guide was very knowledgeable. Wine lunch was delicious!!
This you do get your bang for your buck. The tour is very insightful and the wine and lunch was very cute. If you are a wino....this is more cute pictures a couple of decent wine and a light lunch...this is not walk you through a vinyard tasting grapes and talking about wine type of tour. Its still very good and the food was delicious but manage your expectations. Our tour guide Vicoria was beyond amazing, she knew her stuff.
Amazing from start to finish! Every single part of it was amazing! My husband loved it and our 9 year old did also !! I could not rate it higher x
It was fabulous, easy and great communication. Make sure to pack water and comfy shoes (and your SPF) for pompeii- great guide and fantastic agenda. The vineyard was just lovely! Perfect end to a perfect day!
We almost missed it, but Alda literally ran to us to help us navigate to our terminal. I forgot the name of the woman who was our guide on the train, but she was very helpful. Our tour guide, Victoria, was extremely knowledgeable and patient with the entire group. I highly recommend this tour but I would advise against bringing small children. Bring a fan, plenty water, and comfortable walking shoes. It’s a LOT of walking. I do hate we weren’t able to see the entire city, but it’s very large and would need majority of the day too see it all.
They took care of everything! We were able to have an amazing experience without worrying about the logistics. Sevina met us at the train station and explained everything to expect for the day. She truly cared about making the experience comfortable. Someone in our group got sick on the train, and she did everything she could to make him comfortable. Victoria was extremely knowledgeable about Pompeii and made it come to life through stories. The winery lunch was a wonderful experience.
Very well organised from start to finish. Pompeii is a destination where you learn more from a guide and ours was very knowledgeable. The wine tasting and meal was a great addition at the end of the tour. Met some brilliant people and had a fantastic day. I would definitely recommend this experience.
This was an amazing experience. Luca was a great guide and we our tour guide of Pompeii was really knowledgeable and explained so much that there’s no way to travel Pompeii excavation site without someone. We definitely would recommend this trip to anyone. Only downside was it was almost 100 degrees outside and the bullet train and bus were hot riding in.
Got dropped off by the taxi driver at the Cafe Vergnano at the Vatican when it was supposed to be the Cafe Vergnano at the Termini station Rome. Why use a Cafe reference point in your directions that is like saying in an American city, take me to the McDonalds? I said at least 3 times, "Cafe Vergnano Termini", to the hotel valet at the Crown Plaza, St. Peters and the taxi driver. The taxi driver response was, "yes, yes, Cafe Vergnano". Got dropped off at the Vatican. Took 15 minutes to figure it out and grabbed another taxi to the Termini and got there at 9:00 and finally found the Cafe Vergnano and saw no one from the tour and tried calling and got no one. Finally got someone to answer at Viator and they couldn't get anyone at Italia tours to answer. Train left at 9:15. Emailed Italia and asked if we could pay for the non-refundable portions of the tour and take the tour the next day. They said no, Have a nice day. I recommend instructions to start off with just get to the Rome Termini station. You have to then go inside the station and find Cafe Vergnano out of the 20 plus shops and cafes inside and you're there. It also says the tour starts at 9:15 and they recommend you be there 30 minutes prior. It should say the TRAIN LEAVES at 9:15 and I would have been there an hour prior just like domestic flights at an airport. Would recommend avoiding Trip Advisor, Viator and Italia tours and just book through your hotel tours office when you get to Italy. That way you are talking to a person who you can give you much better information and instructions than a website or listening to an endless phone recording for your options.
Dear Timothy, We are sorry to hear that you were unable to join your tour. After reviewing the details of your booking and the timeline of that morning, we would like to clarify a few points for future readers. The meeting point for this tour is at Rome Termini Station, where guests board the train. The confirmation voucher includes the meeting point, address, map, and directions, all of which lead to Termini Station. To our knowledge, there is no Caffè Vergnano in the Vatican area. Based on your description, it appears there may have been a misunderstanding with the taxi driver, who may have taken you to Caffè Vaticano instead. This may simply have been due to a language misunderstanding. Unfortunately, as you can imagine, we have no control over directions given or understood between guests and third-party taxi drivers. According to the timeline available to us, at 9:00 a.m. you were still in the Vatican area, at our office, which is approximately a 20-minute taxi ride from Termini Station. Our check-in staff remained at the meeting point, and all other guests successfully checked in and boarded the 9:15 a.m. train. Unfortunately, it was therefore not possible for you to reach the departure in time. We understand that travel mishaps can happen and appreciate that this was a disappointing experience. However, we believe it is important to distinguish between issues related to the tour itself and circumstances outside of our control. We always encourage guests to review the meeting point information carefully and, if there is any uncertainty before departure, to contact us in advance so that we can assist. We wish you the best in your future travels.
This tour was worth it! It was great to spend time exploring Pompeii and then have a lovely lunch and wine tasting. Big shout out to Sabine for keeping multiple groups organized throughout each stage of the travel. She made it feel seamless!
