We had a great day trip from Rome to a beautiful town that was very charming. The day overall was very relaxing. The church in the city is stunning in its size and grandeur. The day was made better by our guide Enzo. He was a very kind and knowledgeable guide. He made the experience more personable by choosing information and places that were more authentic and local. The family owned restaurant we ate lunch out was delicious and fun! The family was so welcoming and kind and the food was some of the best we had in Italy. Recommend this trip and the guide.
It is a pleasant day trip from Rome that takes you to a beautiful city and church. The guide is kind and knowledgeable and takes you to important local places. Our entire group had a fantastic time. The lunch was fantastic and at a great family owned restaurant.
Marco was an exceptional guide and storyteller. Orvieto is a beautiful town that should absolutely be on your must-see list when visiting Rome. From exploring the Duomo and the underground tunnels to enjoying a relaxing lunch, the whole day was fascinating and easy to enjoy. Take your time, soak it all in.
I booked the day trip to Orvieto for my family (4 adults) and everything about the experience was wonderful! We typically like to explore on our own but we decided to book this tour and it was awesome. Enzo our guide was just amazing and probably was the main reason we enjoyed the day as much as we did. He was very professional and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. From the ease of clearly informing us of where to meet and taking care of all of the arrangements for us we felt like VIPs for the day. Even the local restaurant for our lunch was one of the best meals we had in Italy. Thank you Enzo for providing a day filled with amazing memories for our family. Grazi!
Orvieto is beautiful and wonderfully preserved. Easy day trip from Rome (although the train apparently takes twice as long as by car, it's a scenic route). Took funicular directly uphill from train station. Guide Daniele was expert in architecture, very fluent in English. Picked a great little spot for the included lunch (pasta excellent). I probably would've liked St. Patrick's well added to the itinerary but otherwise great tour.
I loved each and every moment of this tour. Orvieto with its breathtaking cathedral and charming streets was unforgettable, and exploring the underground passages made it even more special. The traditional lunch and wine were delicious, and everything was seamlessly arranged with the train journey. The guide was simply fantastic. I had a wonderful time, thank you
Livio truly made our day. He was professional and genuinely engaging. The views were amazing, and the buildings spectacular! Ten out of ten — we’d book him again in a heartbeat.
Marco was an excellent trip host. My dad and me had previously traveled Italy earlier and he was an outstanding companion to have, equally well-informed and highly proficient in English. He brought us to the remarkable town of Orvieto. I couldn’t recommend Marco enough, he was excellent!
This is a wonderful, full day trip from Rome. You will visit the duomo and underground caves and have a yummy lunch. Enzo was our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and eager to share…history, archeological information, and art. We learned so much. And we enjoyed a lovely meal, too.
Anamarija, our tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was easy to talk to and concerned that our expectations were met. It was a great day. We are glad we took this tour. We would highly recommend Anamarija as a tour guide.
