Our guide Achilleus was fantastic. We booked the cruise golf cart tour. The private driver right from the port was easy and convenient. He had a sign with our name on it to pick us up. We met our golf cart tour guide, Achilleus, at a beautiful fountain overlooking the city of Rome. From there he drove us around the city for 5 hours. Showed us all the main sights that we never would have been able to see otherwise in such a short period of time. He even made sure we had time to stop at a shop for our teenagers. We had a short stop for lunch or pizza and gelato that had something for everyone. On a 97 degree day it was the perfect tour. Would definitely take this tour again. Sad we didn’t have longer to spend.

As for the golf cart itself, I honestly don't understand why anyone would choose a walking tour in Rome—especially in 98-degree heat. Rome is a massive city with so many incredible neighborhoods and landmarks spread throughout it. The golf cart allowed us to see far more than we ever could have on foot, while keeping our feet, ankles, and energy intact. The tour was comfortable, informative, efficient, and fun. Pietro's combination of historical knowledge, local insight, and genuine enthusiasm made this one of the highlights of our trip. Excellent all around, and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone visiting Rome.

Eduardo was our tour guide for 3 and 1/2 hours. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a lot of history. He was able to answer every question and he took us to places that we probably would have never seen with any other tour guide. His personality and the love of his job were evident in everything he said in every place we went. We cultivated a great friendship with him.
