This golf cart tour was the perfect mix of comfort and creativity. We explored stunning parts of Rome and the photographer captured every moment beautifully. No stress, no walking—just amazing shots and a smooth ride through the city.
Our guide was fun, friendly and informative 👍 His English was great as well which made it a lot easier for us to learn the amazing history of Rome

Our driver was unable to show up at our meeting point due to Rome road closures due to Giro d’Italia. We had no experience - expecting a refund from Viator.
Due to unexpected road closures, the tour could not be completed as planned. Despite incurring expenses and offering an alternative time slot, we still issued a full refund to the customer. Unfortunately, we received this review in return. We sincerely hope to welcome more understanding and respectful individuals in the future.
Our tour with photo shoot was beyond magical. Our guide brought us around the city at night and provided us with a beautiful experience and stunning photos. It was a special way to celebrate our anniversary trip. Grazie!
I had been to Rome before, and I thought to myself that I had seen everything in Rome, and there wasn’t much left to see. However, after this tour, I realized that I hadn’t seen anything in Rome. Rome is huge, and there are places you cannot reach on foot, which is why we chose this tour, and it was incredible. Sertac took us through the hidden places of the sights we had already seen and gave us a different perspective on the city. We also asked for a photo session (we paid extra for this) because Sertac is a great photographer who works with brands, and the photos he took are ones we are thinking of hanging on the walls of our home. Words cannot describe the satisfaction this tour gave us. For two hours, we saw a different side of the city, and we’re returning with wonderful memories. Thank you, Sertac.
What a wonderful tour! We only had 5 hours left in Rome, and we rented this tour. At first, we were a bit hesitant because of the last two reviews we saw, but those reviews definitely do not reflect this tour. Firstly, the tour does not include professional photo shoots. I believe you can't get a golf cart tour for this price if you’re looking for a professional photography session. Sergio, the organizer of the tour, is a professional photographer who knows the city very well. He is familiar with all the streets and takes you to places you wouldn’t be able to reach on foot. In just two hours, he showed us places we wouldn’t have been able to see if we hadn’t booked this tour and told us about their history. We’re still under the impact of this experience and wish we had more time and could stay longer. Rome is a city you need to walk through, but with the golf cart, you get to experience a luxurious ride while also enjoying the city. Thank you, Sergio. We’re definitely thinking of booking again on our next visit.
There are many golf cart tours to choose from around Rome, and I highly suggest booking another. For our first time in Rome, and having just 48 hours there, our family wanted to take a golf cart tour so that we could see all of the major sites. We chose this one because it also included the photo experience and we were really excited to get some pictures of us in front of all the landmarks. After booking the tour for the time we wanted (was shown as available in Viator, while others were fully booked), we received a whatsapp text from one of the operators saying that he had double booked us and could we come later. We could not and asked to cancel/be refunded, but they said that they fixed the situation and could do our time. The morning of, we were supposed to meet our guide at the Colosseum. We arrived before our scheduled slot of 10 and communicated that we were there. He said he would meet us in just a minute, but then realized that he was speaking with the wrong group and was at a different location. He arrived 15 minutes late but was very nice and we were excited to get started. We drove around the Colosseum and then were taken to two different look out points where we were told that we could see some of the landmarks in the distance (miles and miles away distance). At the look out points, we were instructed to get out of the golf cart and walk around for 10-15 min. We weren't taken to any other landmarks. There were several things like the rose garden and a high-end neighborhood that were pointed out to us along the way as we drove by them. The description says "Explore iconic landmarks like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Vatican City, as well as hidden gems." - and the itinerary on the listing, which was present when we booked (seems to be deleted now) literally listed out each of these spots, in the order we would be taken to them. While the overlooks that he brought us to were pretty - it was very different than what was listed in de description Our guide was VERY nice, but didn't share information that we expect out of a tour that we pay nearly $100/person for. We also booked this tour in large part because of the promised "photographic experience". In fact it says in the description "Perfect for all travelers, the tour is led by a knowledgeable driver and a professional photographer, ensuring every moment is beautifully captured." We only had the driver (who ironically enough did say that he was a professional photographer for his previous job in the beginning of the tour) - there was no second guide that was with us as a photographer as it states in the description. "Our experienced driver provides fascinating insights into Rome's past and present, making the tour both educational and entertaining. Meanwhile, our photographer captures stunning images of your adventure, giving you memories to cherish forever." - this did not happen, AT ALL. We weren't offered one single picture of our trip. And again, we weren't taken to the major landmarks anyway. Our driver was nice to offer to drop us off back at our rental unit because of road closures in the area, and ended up dropping us at a restaurant that we were planning on going to for lunch. That was very kind of him and we really appreciated it. But I need to note that he did drop us off 5 minutes early, so we lost a total of 20 minutes during this trip (when you pay for a 2 hour tour, you expect the full 2 hours). After taking a moment to regroup at lunch, we ended up booking a bus tour that took us around all of the sites and told us about them, and gave up other plans we had for the afternoon instead and costing us money that we didn't expect to spend. I reached out to Viator for a full refund, and got a whatsapp message from this company within a few minutes, asking me why we were asking for a refund. I explained it all in detail and then was ignored, no response. I asked the next day about it and still have received no response. I will be taking this up with my credit card company, and will be doing the best that I can to warn everyone that I know who will be visiting Rome, as well as the large travel community that I have online - to book with any other company if they value their time and hard earned money. Choose a different golf cart tour company to get the experience that you're hoping for. We're really disappointed about how this one turned out and the money that we wasted!

However, we still picked up the customer and dropped them off wherever they wanted, even though we were delayed. This complaint is from an upset customer who did not receive a refund. This wasn't what we expected. The guide was super nice but we barely saw anything. No Spanish Steps, no Pantheon, he really didn't even talk much. It was really just a fast tour through Rome. We had 10 minutes at the Vatican and 10 minutes at PIAZZALE GIUSEPPE GARIBALDI and those were our only stops. No pictures, even though the site promised a professional photographer along the way. We ended 20 minutes early so we didn't even get the full 2 hours. Very disappointing tour, especially for our first day in Rome.
We originally offered this tour with photography, but after removing that option, Tripadvisor did not update their website, so it was still displayed. This is why the price was lower. Photography is not something you can expect to receive along with luxury transportation, a professional photographer, and a full photoshoot for just €100. We provided our service, and the customer seemed completely satisfied at the end. We truly don’t understand some customer behavior—some believe they can request a refund simply by saying, “I want a refund,” even though they received the full service. This might be common practice in their country, but it doesn’t work that way here.
