Nous vous présenterons le lieu de sépulture de l’empereur, l’appartement pontifical et la salle du Trésor. Explorez les magnifiques structures d’anges conçues par le célèbre Gian Lorenzo Bernini le long du marbre travertin réalisé ‘’Ponte Sant’angelo’’ ou Pont des Anges à Rome. Profitez d'une vue panoramique depuis le Château et prenez de superbes photos depuis la terrasse. Vous ferez partie d'un petit groupe dirigé par un guide local professionnel et expérimenté.

This is a tour of a beautiful building that started as a Roman tomb, became a fortress, and was turned into a Papal party palace. The view from the upper terraces of the Roman cityscape is wonderful. The tour can fill a morning or afternoon, and a knowledgeable guide like mine can bring the history to life. A note on the site, not this tour: it's not wheelchair friendly. If you have someone with mobility impairment, all the stairs will be challenging.
I bought tickets on Expedia from Loving Roam for Castel San Angelo. I then received an email that gave me link to a PDF receipt and a voucher. The link that said click here to view receipt also led to the receipt and voucher. But, at gate, both receipt and voucher were not accepted. I had to buy tickets at the gate which cost me less than what Loving Rome charged. Expedia contacted Loving Rome and I was advised that Loving Rome refused to refund me.

Our guide, Virginia, was simply wonderful. She was friendly, engaging, humorous, and knowledgeable. We learned so much more about the Castel Sant' Angelo than we had expected.
Our guide was so knowledgeable about both the Castel Sant’Angelo but also other sites we could see from the rooftop. It is an easy to moderate difficulty of climbing stairs and inclines. So worth it! The views are spectacular! The history is so rich.

The castle was a fantastic place with lots of interesting history. Unfortunately the guide we had with love Rome, although very friendly, spent 2 hours telling stories about history of romans related to the castle which dragged on and not giving enough information about the castle itself. I could have walked around myself and read the info boards.
