Émerveillez-vous devant l'imposante Porta di San Sebastiano, une porte dans les murs défensifs de Rome du IIIe siècle.
Balade sur la "Regina Viarum", la Reine des routes - une ancienne route construite au IVe siècle avant J.-C., s'étendait entre Rome et Brindisi (dans sa forme initiale, environ 538 km de long!)
Dans la visite de 4 heures, une courte pause pour contempler l'enterrement massif sous terre, lieu de repos pour un demi-million d'âmes. Veuillez noter : le mercredi, cet arrêt n'est pas inclus dans la visite de 4 heures. Dans la visite de 6 heures, une visite guidée de 45 minutes de ces catacombes du IIe siècle, dans toute leur complexité et leur mystère! Note : Le mercredi, la visite de 6 heures visitera les catacombes de San Sebastiano (au lieu de celles de San Callixtus).
Arrêtez-vous aux ruines monumentales de cette villa impériale et de son cirque adjacent (un hippodrome privé de chars), datant du début du IVe siècle après JC.
Le plus grand mausolée jamais construit sur l'Ancienne Voie Appienne - dédié à une jeune noble du Ier siècle après JC.
En témoignent les vestiges tentaculaires de cette villa du IIe siècle, qui a soulevé l'envie de l'empereur Commode (arrêt pour ce temps fort inclus uniquement dans la visite de 6 heures).
Un grand parc sillonné avec les arches de plusieurs anciens aqueducs alimentant Rome en eau.

- Veuillez noter qu'environ 40% du parcours de cette visite a lieu en ville. Nous roulons dans des rues de la ville soigneusement choisies, mais une certaine circulation est inévitable pour relier le parc de l'Ancien Appian Way au parc des Aqueducs. Dans les 60% restants du parcours (équitation dans les parcs), nous ne rencontrons aucun trafic.
- Vous couvrirez une zone d'environ 17 miles (27km), dont 60% se déroule hors route. Le niveau de difficulté de cette visite est intermédiaire (difficile avec un siège enfant ou une rallonge enfant montée sur le vélo).
- Politique de l'enfant : (1) Les enfants de moins de 1 an ne sont pas autorisés à participer pour des raisons de sécurité. (2) Les bébés âgés de 1 à 4 ans voyageant sur un siège pour enfant (avec une capacité de charge allant jusqu'à 49 lb ou 22 kg) viennent à la visite gratuitement. (3) Pour les enfants âgés de 5 à 8 ans, une extension pour enfant (carter d'enfant) est prévue. (4) Les enfants âgés de 9 ans et plus peuvent rouler de manière autonome sur des vélos ou des vélos électriques de taille appropriée.
- Un minimum de 4 participants s'applique (nombre total de participants à la tournée). Il y a une possibilité d'annulation après confirmation s'il y a 3 passagers ou moins sur le circuit. Dans le cas où cela se produirait, une alternative vous sera proposée pour votre visite ou remboursement complet.
- Le mercredi, l'itinéraire comprend une déviation, de sorte que la visite peut durer une demi-heure de plus (4,5 heures au lieu de 4 heures et 6,5 heures au lieu de 6 heures). La visite peut être plus longue d'une demi-heure également dans la période entre la mi-janvier et la mi-février.
- Le dimanche de Pâques (28 mars 2027), les Catacombes sont fermées (par conséquent, la visite de 6 heures ne sera pas en cours)
- Cette visite ne comprend pas de nourriture ou de boissons; cependant, le parcours offre quelques possibilités d'acheter de la nourriture ou des boissons (qui peuvent être consommées pendant une pause appropriée).

This tour was literally our favorite part of our stop in Rome - we are still talking about it over a week later! It was so nice to get out of the chaotic city and into the countryside for a day and see a different side of Roman history. Our tour guide Merhab (I'm sorry, I probably spelled that wrong) was great, and we only had 6 people total on our tour so we really got to know each other throughout the day! There are lots of stops, so you are never riding for more than 10-15 minutes at a time, and each stop is beautiful. We especially loved riding around the old aqueducts as the sun was beginning to set. The cool catacombs were a nice break, and it was nice to have the breeze on our faces to take the edge off the heat. We will remember this tour for years to come.
This is such a great way to get out of the busy city. I was worried that it would be a little too hot considering the summer weather. But I think it was better than being on the city streets. Our guide, Tommaso, was fabulous. He was full of information and very friendly. And despite riding on some city streets, he made sure we were quite safe.

We did a eBike tour along the Appian Way with TopBike Rental in mid July. Our guide Icaro was fantastic. He was a very safe guide who was enthusiastic with sharing information. The bikes were very comfortable and we had no concerns with safety throughout. Whilst it was hot, we had frequent stops for gelato, nasoni visits. The Appian was very interesting including the amazing catacombs and aquaduct park. It was one of the highlights of our holiday for our 15 year old son. Thanks Icaro!

I'm a fairly confident mountain biker but had never ridden an e-bike before. These things are great for touring - they take all the work out of pedaling and allow you to enjoy the scenery while also catching speed when possible. We did this tour when it was 100' F so the pedal assist was critical. The tour itself was very fun and interesting. Anna was our guide and really made the day fun and interesting. In addition to the history she also gave very helpful information about upcoming hills, turns, and safety as we went. She was also very patient with our thrill-seeking boys. I would recommend the tour to anyone who is reasonably comfortable on a bike, and ask for Anna.

What a great way to see many of the attractions of Rome. The history of the area is immense. Despite the high heat for the time of year, the power-assisted bikes helped keep you moving so it didn't feel as hot. Our guide was excellent, friendly, and very knowledgeable of all the sites we saw. It also helped that we were a relatively small group size. The only way I could see for improving the tour was if they were to add a radio communication to all of the riders so the guide could pass on his wealth of knowledge for all the areas we didn't get a chance to stop at. I highly recommend this tour.
Wonderful views so nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and on a beautiful bike ride
This was really the most fun experience in Rome. You will discover the city in a different way and cycle in the countryside for a large part, so you will not be bothered by the traffic. The groups are small and the guide will guide you safely through the city and enthusiastically tell you about the sights. We did the trip with our children, they could keep up and loved it.

This was our favorite excursion while in Rome. We had a small group with only another couple which made navigating easy and simple. Our guide was excellent and not only made the trip fun but had lots of historical and interesting facts. We chose the 6 hour trip that included a hour long guided tour of the catacombs. This was also cool experience and nice way to get out of the heat.
