Votre expérience commence avec un Guide/chauffeur accrédité qui viendra vous chercher dans le hall de votre hôtel et vous transférera à la passerelle Nelson Mandela à Robben Island au front de mer V&A. Le Guide vous assistera lors de l'enregistrement et vous dirigera vers la zone d'embarquement du ferry. Vous monterez à bord du ferry pour un voyage panoramique à travers Table Bay jusqu'à Robben Island, en profitant de la vue sur Le Cap et le littoral. À l'arrivée, vous rejoindrez la visite guidée officielle, en commençant par une visite en bus autour de l'île où vous verrez des monuments clés, y compris la carrière de chaux. La visite se poursuit par une visite de la prison de haute sécurité de Robben Island, où vous en apprendrez davantage sur l’histoire des prisonniers politiques et verrez la cellule de Nelson Mandela.
