What a beautiful and relaxing day! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and made me feel at home!
Thank-you to all the wonderful guides, we had such a fun, Adventurous, relaxed and scenic day. Best day yet in Fiji, not be missed.
Absolute best experience in Fiji. We went to a village and met some of the local villagers, also met the chief, and had fresh coconuts from the tree. The waterfall we visited was so beautiful. We Had an amazing Fijian style lunch. The food was "wananavu". Then came the most amazing ride down the river. I almost fell out of my tube lol. Douggy was our guide along with Bale, they were so informative answering our 500 million questions we had. They made this experience so wonderful for us. "Vinaka Vakalevu" We will definitely be back to Fiji to visit our new Fijian family. P.S. make sure to purchase photos afterward. So many great moments are captured.
The whole team looking after you are fantastic and constantly looking out for all guests safety and enjoyment. They really make the day, which is a lot of fun with stunning scenery. Highly recommend all visitors to Fiji do this trip.
Awesome day. Tubing was great fun but also the swim at the waterfall. The fijian guides singing while we were floating down the river was a real highlight!
We spent the full day away and it was worth it. The guides on the river were very pleasant! Kavu was very entertaining. He called himself the Uber Tuber. The rapids were great fun! The weather was cloudy which made it a bit cold inside the water. It was a good experience to warm up by the fire on the way down the river. The Lunch provided was simple and I really liked the crunchy ‘fern’ spinach. I wish we did not have the plastic cutlery and had the option of water to drink.
10/10 - it was a wonderful day trip on every level. Well organised, safe for everyone, lots of humour from our guide & long boat captain, beautiful scenery, great lunch provided & tubing down the river was a mix of tranqil calm waters & more challenging rapids. So much fun. Thank you to the villagers who allowed us tourists to be guided through their village by a guide. Very interesting for us kiwis. Thank you everyone for a great trip. Highly recommend giving it a go.
Beautiful experience. Definitely recommend the day out with the crew. Unbelievable scenes and experience. Dougie is quite the character and will keep you entertained throughout the whole day with his banter and knowledge. The river tubing itself is so much fun.
Seriously worth every penny, this was a full day of boating, waterfalls, village tours, and tubing! The staff were AMAZING, we felt safe, cared for, had an amazing meal, and like we got to learn and even contribute to a rural village. It was a large group but there were plenty of guides so it felt intimate. Would highly recommend!
Informative at the village, otherwise it wasn't great. It was raining, and quite chilly, and the rain made the ground (dirt) into mud. This made the trip dangerous and should have been cancelled. The trip was only 40 minutes on the tubes. The rest was visiting a local village, very muddy, where I slid on the mud and ended up on my butt. It's a steep climb up and walking through the mud to visit the village and gardens, then a steep incline down the other side, in the mud. Then we went to a waterfall. You have to climb steep rocks up a steep incline, no railing, overlooking running water. It was daunting. If you have a fear of heights or falling, this isn't for you. If you have walking issues, this isn't for you. I had to be led by hand by one of the tour guides. The outdoor lunch was good. I don't think I would do this again thought knowing that there was very little time on the tubes. Even if the weather was good, I don't think I would do this again. I want more time on the river in the tube, not in a boat.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for visiting us. We’re sorry to hear that the day did not fully meet your expectations. When the tour departed, the weather conditions were manageable; however, as we travelled upriver, the rain became much heavier than anticipated. On that day, a fallen log had blocked access to our usual guest drop-off point near the village. For safety reasons, the team had to adjust the route and guests were dropped off further downstream, which required walking through the plantation area to reach the village. We understand this added extra time and reduced the time spent tubing on the river, and we appreciate your patience and flexibility. We’re also sorry to hear about your slip in the muddy conditions. Rain can make natural terrain more challenging, and our guides do their best to assist guests where needed. We’re glad our team was there to support you during the walk. Regarding the waterfall section, there is a formed concrete pathway leading up to the waterfall area, and guest safety remains a priority throughout the experience. However, we recognise that terrain and weather conditions can feel more difficult for some guests, especially in wet conditions or for those less comfortable with uneven ground and inclines. We appreciate your comments about the village visit and lunch and are grateful you joined us despite the weather. Your feedback helps us continue reviewing how we communicate tour expectations and adapt experiences during changing river conditions. Vinaka vakalevu for visiting us, and we wish you all the best on the rest of your travels.
