A great and smiling team. I rented electric fat bikes which worked wonderfully. Honestly, great experience.
Thank you for the nice review. We are happy you liked the Fat bikes and the experience so much. We hope to see you again riding on our bikes.
Francisco was a great guide— very informative and spirited. We used headsets so could hear he clearly the whole way. It was nice riding a little way out of Prague and seeing the surrounding area. The chateau was lovely. We ran into some rain, which is the only thing that kept it from being a 5 star experience.
Thank you guys for the nice review, we are happy that you had a great time! Sadly we can control the weather (yet), but maybe next year! wishing the best, Francisco Praha Bike Team
If you want to see a different side of Prague, I would highly recommend taking this bike tour! Our guide was really nice and gave us a good intel on how live in Prague is now as well as how it was before. We were a group of four, and was joined by another family of four! Since it was very hot, around 32 degrees we chose to take e-bikes to not break unnecessary sweat and it was really nice, although the trips was very easy and there wasn’t really necessary to have the extra power (though on the one small hill it was extremely pleasant to just pedal easy, as well as seeing the family on the normal bikes have it a bit tougher) 👌🏻 I can easily see us coming back with other friends taking the same tour, as we did enjoy taking a step off the tourist path!
Glad you enjoyed your tour! We're happy you were able to join us and braved our heatwave.
I booked the 3 hour afternoon Troja tour and turns out I was the only one that day, but they still held the tour --- impressive! My guide was super nice, Antonio, originally from Mexico, but spoke English very well. It was quite relaxed, flat level, but still demanded some fitness level if done at a quick pace. Great afternoon ride to see some local spots, msotly parks, outside the tourist zone... Omri.
Omri, how are you, it was a pleasure to ride with you and show you some amazing spots in Prague, thanks for your time and I hope to see you soon for a longer tour. Antonio =)
I came here twice during my stay in Prague because I liked it so much! I first did the classic city Prague tour (2 hrs) with my mom, our guide was so nice and resourceful! She did a fantastic job even though it was 90 degrees out. I would recommend this on one of your first days in Prague because it gives you a good general lesson on the basic history of Prague and the layout of the city. The next day I went on a troja chateau tour alone, and it ended up being just be and the guide. He was super friendly and did a great job making the tour fun even though it was just the two of us. I felt like I learned a lot about the city on both tours, and the guides really do a great job of making the tours fun and balancing the history lessons with some fun and interesting facts only locals would know. The troja tour was definitely a bit more of a work out than the classic tour so keep that in mind.
Hi Delaney, Thank you very much for this insightful and kind review, we really appreciate it. Misel and Jana will be happy to hear this great feedback. Hope we see each other again on another biking adventure. Have a lovely day! Best regards, PB Team
We had Jirka as a guide for two bike tours. He's a great tour guide and was very informative and personable. The bikes were also very nice. If I go back to Prague I would definitely go on another tour with them!
Hello from Praha Bike. Thanks for your lovely review. That's the idea, to work hard to have nice feedback, the best reward. Jirka is going to be happy. Warm regards, Praha Bike Team
We had a very nice ride led by Sergio (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) from Colombia. He was an experienced rider who guided us from the bike shop to the Troja Chateau. The tricky part was getting through town over the cobblestone streets to the bike path along the river. He expertly avoided any dangerous intersections and was a very careful rider, always alert for our safety. After the chateau, we toured through some of the city parks and went up to the Metronome (where the statue of Stalin formerly stood). We stopped along the way a couple of times for breaks and to view some fantastic overlooks. For us, seeing a city by bike is the only way to go. I highly recommend this company for their quality bikes and knowledge of the city.
Thank you very much for your kind review! We completely agree that seeing the city by bike is the way to go :) We hope that you visit us again when you are back in Prague! Cheers, Praha Bike Team
I went on this tour with my teenage daughter, it was a good way to spend an afternoon in Prague. It gets you off the usual path and takes you around the river and through a few parks. The staff was nice and helpful getting us checked-in and onto a bike. The mountain-bike style bicycles are in decent condition and have baskets and water bottle holders. Our guide was nice and rode at a very leisurely pace to ensure he didn't loose anyone. However, there wasn't much narrative during the tour, there were no points of interest from the shop to Troja Chateau (only a beer stop) but he did give a short explanation of the family and the history of the Chateau while we were there. On the way way back to the shop we did make a few stops where he talked about the history of the places were at. He was also very open to answer questions about Prague and the Czech Republic when asked.
My wife and I booked this tour to get out of the city centre and see more of Prague than can be seen on the excellent walking tours. The riverside route to the Troja Chateau was easy to ride and with regular stops at points of interest we learned so much more about Prague. The Troja Chateau and grounds are beautifully maintained and well worth the ride. The route back to the Old Town went through some amazing parks and ended with an elevated postcard view of old Prague. Our guide, Francesco, was enthusiastic and passionate about Prague. We couldn't help, but buy into this with him and would recommend him to anyone. This tour gave perfect balance to the old and the new Prague. Thank you Praha Bike.
Thanks a lot for the nice words, The tour with you was fantastic for me as well. When I have a tour I always hope to meet very nice people like you. I hope one day to see you in that wonderful place called Perth. Your tour guide Francesco

This bike tour took you out of downtown Prague to the beautiful Troja Chateau. The biking was easy except for one long hill and most was on a bike path. The bikes were well maintained. I thought our guide could have stopped a few more places along the route to discuss the different monuments we passed. It would have been great if we could go inside the castle as well. I would recommend this tour as the chateau grounds were just beautiful.
