Our guide Rūta was warm, intelligent, and deeply knowledgeable about the Baltic region and its history, with a clear love for Lithuania and this part of Europe. She shared fascinating stories along the way in a friendly, engaging way that made the long trip very enjoyable. Kind and easy to talk to, she made the journey feel special, and I arrived in Riga having learned a lot and grateful for the experience. I would happily travel with this agency again and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Baltics.❤️
It didn’t happen. The tour was cancelled a few days before the tour date.
This tour was beyond my expectations and so much of it had to do with our guide, Lara. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, well organized, and one of the best guides I’ve ever had! The route and the timing were so well thought out, and we had the perfect amount of time at each place. Communication with the company was stellar (big shout out to Janne who was patient with & responsive to all of my requests). The van was in great working condition, spotlessly clean, and roomy. I would highly recommend this tour – what a fabulous way to travel from Riga to Vilnius.
Miķelis is a really fun, friendly and good driver. Aside from the tour commentary, he answered all of our random questions. The van is also clean and comfortable. It was a long day but definitely a nice way to transfer from Rīga to Vilnius Highly recommend.
The guide and driver Laura is truly great as a guide and driver, everything was great, the places visited were interesting, Too bad it was only available in English, and spoken fast...but still an excellent tour/trip
10 stars is more appropriate. This private tour started as a nice way to get from Riga to Vilnius, it ended up as much more and worth every cent! The drive without tour is 3 hours, with the tour its ~9 hours. Much better and cheaper than a flight or driving myself. Pickup and dropoff were central locations, easy to walk to. There were four on us on the bus, and our guide Laura was absolutely the best... so well suited to her job. The tour stops were locations we wanted to see, just the right amt of time on each, the drive was smooth and through interesting towns. The food stops were perfect ... order the honey cake at the Palace cafe, it was decided by all to be excellent. Laura informed us about the region, history, religions, people, and culture. And she was right, we all ended up loving Vilnius! It was good company.
Great tour! Tour guide Laura was very engaging and did an excellent job entertaining the group throughout the trip. She was also very knowledgeable.
We arrived at the meeting place a bit early, and met our guide for the day, Laura. Start to finish, Laura was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, fun, and a great communicator. We were lucky to have her as a guide. And she is a very good driver. There was some commentary while we were on the go, but once we arrived to our stops, Laura cheerfully gave us information about our stops. She made it fun, and easy to understand. We made it to all of the stops that were part of the day tour. I think our tour day lasted around 11hrs. We did have a very nice leisurely lunch stop, which was very tasty. Our group of 7 travelers got along very well. The van was very comfortable. Though the day may have been long, it went fairly fast. We were dropped off in the vicinity of the Cathedral square. We had a wonderful day, with many thanks to our guide, and driver, Laura.
Mr. Lothar, our guide this time. Since only two couples participated, we directed a private travel time. With easy-to-understand English explanations, I learned a lot from understanding Latvia's history, culture, and current rapid prosperity.
Laura was our tour leader - she was great. Great tour would recommend as it’s difficult to get to the hill of crosses and the palace otherwise.
