Kristin and Youcef were amazing, we spent a wonderful day and everything went smoothly. We are delighted to have seen such wonderful places
An 800km round trip where you through vastly different cosmic landscapes accompanied by a wonderful tour guide telling stories of myth and history. Totally enchanting and awe-inspiring...
This tour is absolutely breathtaking, Everything was perfect, beautiful cascades, glacier lagoon, diamond beach, Black Sand beach. The tour guide Sunny was very friendly and told us many interesting things about Iceland.
The bus ride was a bit long, but the glacier lagoon and Diamond Beach were beautiful. It was a shame we didn’t get to see any seals.
We had an amazing South Coast & Glacier Lagoon day tour, and our guide Denis made the experience even more memorable! Denis was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Throughout the journey, he shared fascinating stories about Iceland’s history, culture, and nature, making the long drive both enjoyable and informative. He also gave us great recommendations for the best photo spots and made sure everyone had enough time to explore each stop. What impressed us most was how attentive and caring Denis was. He kept the tour well organized, ensured everyone felt comfortable, and was always happy to answer questions with patience and enthusiasm. His positive attitude and sense of humor created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day. Thank you, Denis, for making our Iceland adventure so special. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Denis as your guide!
The tour itself was good. The driver was a true veteran, and the guide was very helpful. Although it was a long and tiring tour, it was overall a great experience. However, the pickup process was quite confusing. The location and timing were not clear. I was told the pickup was at Hallgrímskirkja, but there were no GPS coordinates, exact street addresses, or directional markers (e.g., in front of Hotel Leifur Eiriksson, or facing the main entrance/west side of the church). Because of this, I had to wait outside in the cold from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM. Eventually, I had to wait inside my accommodation and only managed to catch the pickup vehicle when I saw the small minibus passing by. It took about 40 to 45 minutes just to finally get on board. It would be much better if they provided exact Google Maps coordinates/clearer locations and communicated a tighter pickup window so guests only need to wait outside 5 to 10 minutes prior.
The tour is, as expected, long... Very long. Which is luckily not a problem. Rest stops were reasonably paced and there were some good opportunities to grab a bit in between stops. Our guide, Kristi, did a great job keeping everything going, even if not every guest made it easy for her. We got plenty of interesting facts and tidbits about the countryside, icelandic culture and other fun possible activities. The stops along the trip includes some absolute highlights that I can only reccomend everyone should see about getting a look at. It is a shame the time table at some of these stops was so tight. It does put a little bit of a damper on the experience, but since the tour is allready plenty long, extending it further seems unfeasable for both passengers and staff. Overall... A great, yet exausting trip.
Great tour must do in Iceland. Even though its a long tour its totally worthwhile going to Diamond beach and doing the boat tour. Watching ice rocks on the black sand beach was surreal. Suitable for family- we did it with a 7 year old. Kristi and Tommy conducted the tour very well.
Our guide was Kristi and our driver was Sylvester. They were both fantastic. Friendly, full of information and stories and very accommodating to the passengers on the bus. There was enough time at each stop and they even squeezed in an extra stop to see a glacier that wasn't on the itinerary. Sylvester was a careful and calm driver. Excellent tour
As everyone says and is stat d in the booking - this is a very long day. Pickup and drop off were great and on time. Large bus of people that travels all day together. Number of stops were good. Most time is spent at the Glacier Lagoon, which is worth it. I would ensure your kids can sustain a long trip like this before taking them. There is a lot of time spent in the bus. It is minimum 4 hours each way out to the glacier. The tour company, tour guide, and company did a great job. If you are looking for a tour to get out to Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, and Vik then I recommend this one.
