We had an amazing food tour with Haddy, and I can’t recommend him enough! From the moment the tour started, he was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing Iceland’s food, history, and culture. Haddy was hilarious and kept the group laughing throughout the tour, but he was also incredibly knowledgeable. No matter what questions we asked, he always had an interesting answer and was happy to explain more. You could tell he really enjoys what he does, and that passion made the experience so much more memorable. The food was fantastic, but Haddy is what truly made the tour special. His personality, sense of humor, and ability to make everyone feel included turned what could have been just a meal into one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. If you’re lucky enough to get Haddy as your guide, you’re in for a great time. Thank you for such a fun and unforgettable experience!
Day was an awesome guide! You could see his passion for Iceland and making sure we all enjoyed our adventure. This was the second time we have done this food tour. Today was just as awesome as the first time!
We had such a wonderful time on the Reykjavík Food Walk! Our guide was young, energetic, fun, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. He was extremely well organized and kept the tour moving at the perfect pace while making sure everyone felt included. His knowledge of Reykjavík, Icelandic history, culture, and local food was impressive, and he shared interesting facts in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. You could tell he genuinely loves his city and enjoys introducing visitors to it. Visiting five different local restaurants gave us a fantastic variety of Icelandic food that we probably never would have discovered on our own. The combination of great food, fascinating stories, and his upbeat personality made this one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re visiting Reykjavík, don’t miss this tour. It was fun, informative, delicious, and incredibly well run. Highly recommend!
Great tour to really nice places. Karitas was amazing.
Bonnie was an excellent tour guide and very kind. We missed the beginning of the tour due to a late flight arrival, but were delighted to find that Bonnie had emailed us allowing us to catch up with the tour at the first restaurant. In the end we missed nothing.
Our guide, Fries, was VERY good. The food was substantial, and maeningful to local culture. We learned much about Icelandic culture, weather, history, and local perspectives. Well worth the cost and time!
Wide variety of foods, knowledgeable and interesting guide; overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
Karítas, our guide, made our walk an absolute blast! She was incredibly funny, kind, and extremely helpful. It’s a must-do activity as soon as you arrive in Reykjavík! Thank you, Karítas!
Eyglò was a great guide! The vibe of the tour was very chill and conversational, and she provided fun insights about Iceland and the food we tried. There was definitely enough food to go around as well. Highly recommend!
