Zara was so knowledgeable about the ecosystem of the Island ! And hike was nice / highly recommend the ride bike too!
An okay experience; trial was a nice challenge but short. The driver sweet but was late and no communication. The cost is too high for the actual service. There were two activities planned back to back. I did the hike which was short and the waterfall was okay but did not get to stay too long. I got dropped off with a couple and had to wait for an uber to drop us off which was just overall unprofessional. John and Ian were sweet and kind but it should be half the cost of what I paid.
Makai was everything I love in a guide- clearly knowledgeable, stopped enough to see the sights but not so much to disrupt the flow, patient with my mother and her hip replacement. It had been rainy so the walk was slick but not impossible (makai provided walking sticks also, so thoughtful!) and the waterfall flow was perfect. Just what we hoped for!
Aloha Kelly, That's so great that you and your mom had this rainforest experience together. Makai loves being a guide and glad you all had a chance to share in this adventure together. Until we meet again.. Aloha
Michael our tour guide was wonderful! He was knowledgeable and spoke with us with ease and kindness. There wasn’t a question we asked him that he didn’t have an answer for. The tour was prepared for absolutely everything. We loved that they had already thought about what we might need as we hadn’t realized everything that was needed. Michael knew exactly where to stop for small breaks in the hike. We appreciate his knowledge, kindness, and charm. We would definitely book a tour with him again!!
Nice relaxing ride to and from the trail head. Short easy hike up to the hidden falls. Tour guide Michael was the best!
Our family Love it! We took our time going up and down. It was perfect weather not hot there was lots of trees and wind so perfect!
Aloha and mahalo for joining us and taking time post a review. We hope that you enjoy the rest of your stay in Hawaii nei
We had an amazing time on our waterfall hike! It was pouring rain, which just added to our adventure! Daniel was a great tour guide! He was personable and was full of history of the islands and the area around the waterfall. We throughly loved it!
Aloha and mahalo for your review. We appreciate allowing us to share in your Honolulu vacation. You said it right that taking a waterfall hike when its pouring rain adds to the adventure. This is when the rainforest comes alive! See you again next time.
Everything went really well. I was picked up on time, on the way we learned something about the history of Hawaii and we were guided through the jungle with a lot of attention. It was a great, short hike with wonderful look of the Ko'olau Range
Tour guide (Ray) was very personable, and provided a great experience. We appreciated the belt-packs, water & granola provided.
It was a beautiful waterfall after a little hike. It was muddy and slippery, but many people did the hike with small children. Hikers must be able to climb over trees in the pathway, which the waterfall spills into. There is a small pool and plenty of space to take pictures.
