Bjorn, our driver, was a fabulous source of information about Iceland. Pointing out interesting sights, explaining customs and so much culteral information. He was entertaining and fun as well, adding so much enjoyment to our experience. Breate, (sp?), our glacier guide was amazing. She immediately put us at ease, was encouraging and calm. She explained so much, and shared interesting facts about the glacier. She was also incredibly patient and helpful to those who were a bit apprehensive about footing. I can't thank the two enough for this once in a lifetime experience.
Amazing!! Beautiful waterfalls (you get to walk behind one of them) and black sand beach. Lovely stop for lunch. Highlight was the 3-hour glacier hike! I’m 60 and was terrified i wouldn’t be able to hack it, but I did it! The boots and crampons provided were fantastic. Tour guides Bjorn and Beate were truly the best. Bjorn kept me guessing… he said we would be climbing ladders over huge ice fissures, but he was just teasing; it was strenuous but do-able. I highly recommend the experience.
Bjorn was a wonderful guide! Timely pickup and drop offs. Excellent viewing of waterfalls, glaciers, and black sand beaches. Exactly what we came to Iceland to see!
Bjorn was exceptional as a tour guide. Great stories and great humor!
Bjorn was such a great driver and guide. Great sense of humor and very friendly. Very proud of Iceland, with great love for his country and his job. Thank you Bjorn for making this day memorable!
The guide who took us was bjorn, a very patient and interesting guide who made the whole day group really fun! And the glacier hike. I didn't wear gloves, and he was very kind to help me, and a warm reminder. It was very cold up there.
Beate was an incredibly kind and patient guide, always full of enthusiasm. Thanks to her, we had such a joyful and unforgettable hiking experience. Bjorn, our driver, was warm and humorous, sharing a wealth of fascinating facts about Iceland throughout the journey. The South Coast and the glacier hike were absolutely worth the trip—the scenery was breathtaking and spectacular. Highly recommend!
Just go. Our glacier group had the entire age range: from young to old. Our glacier guide Mika trained us well and accompanied us well. Our driver Sergei made stops at two waterfalls and the black sands beach, giving us enough time (you now, considering time limits). Both guides were friendly and attentive to personal needs. Superb experience!
What an incredible day! It felt like we packed a week’s worth of adventure into a single tour. Bjorn was a fantastic guide-his stories, humor and seemingly endless knowledge of Iceland kept us entertained from start to finish. The glacier hike was a highlight of the day, thanks to our guide, Katarina. I was a bit nervous about it, but her encouragement and positive energy gave me confidence.,Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for adventure, amazing scenery, and outstanding guides.
Fantastic experience! Björn was the best guide I’ve ever had, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and humorous!
