Hôtel ou hébergement à Santa Marta. Rencontrez votre Guide touristique local Certifié et chauffeur, puis commencez le transfert privé vers le parc national de Tayrona le long de la route qui mène DEr les contreforts de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. En chemin, votre Guide vous expliquera la région, vous présentera brièvement le plan de la journée et répondra à vos premières questions.
À l'entrée principale d'El Zaino, votre Guide Certifié s'occupera personnellement de tous les billets, de l'assurance et de l'inscription des visiteurs - pas besoin de faire la queue. Pendant ce temps, vous serez libre d’utiliser les toilettes, d’acheter des collations ou de l’eau, ou de prendre des articles de dernière minute. Une fois tout prêt, vous retrouverez votre Guide et continuerez en véhicule privé dans le parc, direction le point de départ de la randonnée : Cañaveral
Commencez votre promenade écologique à travers le parc national de Tayrona avec une douce section de sentier de 4,5 km au départ de Cañaveral. Cette partie de la randonnée comporte des sentiers ombragés dans la jungle, des passerelles en bois et des pentes douces. En chemin, vous apprécierez la végétation tropicale luxuriante, les brises océaniques et la possibilité d’apercevoir des singes, des lézards ou des oiseaux avant de continuer vers Playa La Piscina – une plage calme et pittoresque plus profonde à l’intérieur du parc.
Après avoir passé la plage d'Arenilla, nous arrivons à Playa La Piscina — une baie calme et naturellement abritée idéale pour nager et se détendre. Cet arrêt est également un point de décision : vous pouvez profiter d'un plongeon rapide, prendre des photos, ou vous reposer à l'ombre avant de poursuivre la dernière ligne droite vers Cabo San Juan. Le sentier d'ici au cap est d'environ 1,5 km (0,9 mi), généralement en 30 minutes (par trajet) à un rythme soutenu. C’est à vous de rester ici plus longtemps ou de continuer pour terminer la randonnée complète.
Vous avez atteint Cabo San Juan — la plage la plus emblématique du parc national de Tayrona. Le court sentier de La Piscina implique un chemin sablonneux et rocheux qui mène à un point de vue panoramique surplombant les eaux turquoises, le sable doré, les rochers de granit et la jungle luxuriante dans une scène à couper le souffle. À vous de prendre une baignade rafraîchissante, de vous détendre sous les paumes, ou simplement de profiter de la vue et de prendre des photos avant de repartir. Un petit kiosque est disponible où vous pouvez acheter des boissons ou accéder aux toilettes (à vos frais). Après avoir profité de cet endroit, nous commençons la randonnée de retour vers La Piscina
Après avoir visité Cabo San Juan, nous retournons à Playa La Piscina, en suivant le même sentier panoramique de retour. Cette baie calme et abritée est un endroit parfait pour se détendre, nager ou simplement profiter de la vue. C’est à vous de choisir de prendre un bain rafraîchissant ou d’utiliser ce temps pour un déjeuner facultatif à vos frais. Certains voyageurs choisissent de se détendre ici, tandis que d'autres préfèrent garder un rythme soutenu. Après cette pause, nous continuons sur le sentier en direction de Cañaveral pour terminer la randonnée de retour.
Nous commençons la randonnée de retour de Playa La Piscina vers le secteur de Cañaveral, en suivant le même sentier écologique en sens inverse. Cette section de 4,5 km prend généralement moins de temps que la randonnée aller, car il y a moins de pauses informatives. Néanmoins, nous pouvons nous arrêter brièvement si nous apercevons des singes, des oiseaux ou d'autres animaux sauvages en cours de route. Une fois que nous aurons atteint la zone de stationnement, votre véhicule privé vous attendra — avec de l’eau en bouteille pour vous rafraîchir avant le retour à Santa Marta.
Après avoir terminé la randonnée, nous embarquons dans le véhicule privé qui attend au parking Cañaveral pour le voyage de retour à Santa Marta. C'est un grand moment pour se reposer, profiter de la climatisation, ou simplement se détendre après une journée complète de nature et d'aventure. De nombreux voyageurs en profitent pour faire la sieste ou réfléchir à l'expérience lors du trajet panoramique de retour en ville. Le dépôt est inclus à votre hôtel ou au même endroit où la visite a commencé.

Our family had a great time with Cesar last week on our tour of Tayrona Park. He met us on time at our hotel and drove us to the park and handled all of the entrance fees, etc. On the hike, he did a nice job of pointing out the local flora and fauna, and we enjoyed seeing everything from small bats to caiman to howler monkeys. He hiked at a pace tailored to our group, which allowed for us to spend some great time at two of the beautiful beaches in the park. After a relaxing afternoon at the beach, we were able to walk back a bit later than others and enjoy the amazing peace and natural beauty of the forest. It was a memorable day, and Cesar was a fantastic guide!

Where do I begin? We booked this experience less than 48 hours prior because we had a free day in Santa Marta and wanted to explore nature. I do not have enough space to convey our absolute gratitude for César and the unforgettable day he provided. We loved the day so much that we keep saying we would take 100 more tours with him. It is officially the greatest tour experience I've ever had, and we felt like we'd made a friend at the end of it. We can't stop talking about it. To start, César contacted us quickly to arrange a pickup in Santa Marta. He then provided an informational sheet to prepare us for our hike. It was so informative that we had zero questions or concerns beforehand. He arrived at our hotel lobby 10 minutes early to pick us up with a private chauffeur. Our driver, Rafa, was exceptional. He drove so well that we were completely at ease on our first morning in a new place. I have never been so comfortable with another driver behind the wheel in my life. On our way to Tayrona Park, César gave us information about Colombia, the geography, and the history of the land. He made the drive more fun and made us excited for the arrival. At the park, he handled the tickets and insurance while we got water and snacks. We had zero responsibility or concern. In the park, he knew every person we passed. He gave us insider tips, showed us countless animals and experiences we never would have seen/found ourselves, and educated us on the flora and fauna. He had a pen light to help us spot things - which I deeply appreciated. He notified us of every slippery spot on the path and every branch overhead, ensuring our safety 100% of the way. We trusted him so much on the walk that we were literally following his footsteps. We also talked the whole day, as conversation with him was easy and fun. The hike itself stunned us. The views were spectacular, the water was incredible, and our lucky animal sightings took our breath away. We entered with low expectations and left feeling like we'd walked out of a dream. He even had a surprise for us that went above and beyond all expectation. César truly planned every detail of this day with such expert precision and thought that we could simply be along for the ride. We weren't troubled by anything, never felt unsafe, and were sad when it was over. We couldn't possibly express our gratitude and contentment enough. I would recommend this to every person visiting Santa Marta or Colombia and only wish that I could bring César with me on other trips. We truly loved our time with him.

Cesar is the best! He was a very careful and knowledgable guide. He handled tickets ahead of time so we didn't have to wait in line, and he knows every tricky spot on the trails. Cesar is an incredible guide! Our experience was a little unique: We met Cesar through a mutual friend in Santa Marta and he gave us all the info we needed to visit & hike at Tayrona by ourselves. We were nervous about where to go, what we had to pay for, etc, but he sat with us for like 30 minutes straight and broke it all down step-by-step so we knew exactly what to expect, from the need to hop out of the park ticket line to buy our trip insurance before we got to the counter, to what time we needed to get there & leave by in order to complete the trip safely in one day. He is kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable and well-connected, and just a great dude! Highly recommend Cesar for any tour/travel needs!
