Best guide to have on a first hike. For a first time, he was amazing... patient with us and our continued requests for breaks, and helpful in every way... from water bottles to lessons on history. Mohammad is really the guy to get you into hiking!
The hike was one of the best hikes I have experienced in Oman with incredible views of a waterfall. Mohamed was very responsive throughout. Mohamed is also very adaptable, knowledgeable and friendly and I truly enjoyed my time on this hike. He always went out of his way to assist. Would highly recommend Mohamed and this hike.
I was only in Salalah for a day and reached out to Mohamed to book a hike to Taiq caves. He was very accommodating with the request and organised a great day. The hike is easy to moderate, with beautiful views and ends at a cave. It is a relatively short hike so can be combined with other activities. Mohamed also organised a fantastic itinerary for my trip to Muscat/North Oman with local trusted guides. I have booked a few tours with Mohamed/Salalah Premium tours and I recommend him to friends who are visiting Oman too. This trail was one of the highlight of our trip! What sets this tour apart is that many other guides don't offer this hike as an option. Our guide Mohamad timed our arrival perfectly so the water temperature was ideal for a swim. The 45-minute hike is moderate but manageable, and the payoff is a breathtaking waterfall that feels like a hidden gem. I had an amazing hiking experience in Salalah with Mohammed as my guide. The best hike of my life, thanks to Mohamed ! We started by a beach where you’re supposed to swim with dolphins. Unfortunately, they decided not to show up close that day, but I still got to see them from far away, and the beach was stunning. Then we hit the road to a hidden beach. The drive took about an hour, but it was absolutely breathtaking… between the sea and mountains with all colors, I’d go back just for this road. Once we arrived, we set off on a wild hike along the lagoon. At the end, I discovered the most magical place : turquoise waters, camels wandering peacefully, and a vibe that felt like time had stopped. I didn’t want to leave 😭 Thank you, Mohamed, for an unforgettable day filled with adventure, beauty, and serenity. I can’t recommend this experience for sure !
I had an unforgettable adventure with Mohamed as my guide ! After a great hike through the mountains, he made me discover a hidden waterfall that felt straight out of a movie.. The turquoise water and violet reflections on the rocks were absolutely magical. So bad I hadn’t my cover’s phone to capture this✨ We swam, I practiced diving, and Mohamed even showed me a stunning underwater cave. It was a one-of-a-kind experience, perfect for anyone looking to escape into nature. I recommend highly !
I don’t know where to start because I could write a book about this experience.. 🥹 It is my first time in Salalah, I wanted to explore this beautiful area so I booked a trip with Mohamed without exactly knowing what we would do. But I wanted something natural, easy going and adventurous. And actually it was really beyond my expectations.. First, Mohamed came to pick me up from the airport and took on his time to make me visit the areas of my hotel, places I could visit, gave me a lot of recommandations, etc. I really appreciated this ! Then, the hike. Suchhhhh a lovely day ! We were 3 : Mohamed, me and another lady. He knows the mountains like his pocket so he adjusted the initial plan to something we both wanted : nature, hike, and unusual places so he took us in an amazing place : a natural swimming pool inside montains… The hike is amazing, the view is beautiful and the natural « swimming pool » is wonderful.. you are inside montains and you have a beautiful view on the beach. With nobody around expect the sound of birds 😍 After this he brough us to an amazing places to see the sunset and we all didn’t want to leave from there because it was magical ! Actually I am jealous of you who are reading this because I would like to be in your shoes and do it again 😂 I can only recommand this trip BUT, even if I am sure that other guides are very good, you have to go with Mohamed, otherwise it will taste different. He has such a beautiful soul.. he truly cares about the happiness of his clients. In addition, he is very respectful, funny and as emotionnally as intellectually intelligent.
