Profitez d'une excursion d'une demi-journée avec une randonnée de 3 heures pour les débutants et les familles dans la célèbre vallée de Wachau en Autriche, classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en raison de son histoire architecturale et agricole. C'est un itinéraire facile mais il s'agit toujours d'une randonnée avec une différence de hauteur de 200 mètres!

Itinéraire
Nous proposons ici une promenade circulaire relativement confortable dans la Wachau. Trois courtes ascensions nous mènent aux points d'observation. Avec le célèbre village de Spitz comme point de départ, le sentier nous conduit à la légendaire "Porte Rouge" à travers des paysages en terrasses avec des vignes et des arbres fruitiers, où nous aurons une vue magnifique sur Spitz, la montagne des Mille Ans, le Danube et la ruine Hinterhaus. Nous visiterons tous ces endroits par la suite. Le point culminant de la visite est la ruine Hinterhaus, un château aventureux du XIIIe siècle. C'est un itinéraire facile mais il s'agit toujours d'une randonnée avec une différence de hauteur de 200 mètres! Temps de randonnée: 3 heures | Dénivelé: 200 mètres

- En hiver, des équipements supplémentaires (chaînes à neige, raquettes) sont parfois nécessaires. Nous vous informerons en conséquence!
- En raison de surfaces inégales, cette visite n'est pas possible pour les personnes ayant des difficultés à marcher ou en fauteuil roulant

Great host, organized pickup, day plan, etc. Very knowledgeable about all things: history, geography, agriculture, etc. Very good hike leader, pace was set appropriate for us. Trails each provided great views & rewards for the climb. Hiking thru the vineyards & then above was amazing! He was prepared & conscious of our safety at all times. He even took pic of US & points of interest & the scenary. Then forwarded to me via Dropbox. He made sure we didn't miss any of the views. Good car & good driver as well. Pickup & dropoff as planned.

An Excellent hike through beautiful rolling hills with wonderful vistas of the Danube valley, picturesque towns with vineyards and ruins of castles. The guide was superb adjusting the pace to our needs and making sure we experienced all the hike offered.

Michael was an excellent guide. Provided umbrellas since it was raining. It was a fun day hiking around the vineyards and up to the castle. I would highly recommend this hike. Michael was knowledgeable about the history of the area. We had a nice stop at the end for a snack. Great day!!!!

This was a great hike that Michael took us on! Michael is very communicative via text and email. Because we wanted to spend more time in Spitz he reconfigured our hike to meet our needs and it was amazing. This whole valley is a Unesco world heritage site and when we got there we understood why! It is truly picturesque as you walk through vineyards to view the city from above. Micheal picked us up from the meeting point (train station) right on time and we had ample time to walk around Spitz and truly enjoyed driving through the other towns of the valley. Michael took lots of pictures for us which he sent to us after we got home. They were great! Great experience!
