Si vous êtes un amoureux du plein air et que vous êtes ravi à l'idée de passer toute la journée dehors, ce voyage est fait pour vous ! Découvrez l'un des plus beaux parcs nationaux de Roumanie, le parc national Piatra Craiului. Il est rempli de canyons, de cabanes de montagne et de crêtes calcaires. Préparez-vous pour une randonnée facile à modérée, qui nous mènera à la cabane Curmatura. Les plats qu'ils servent sont délicieux ! Nous pouvons soit manger sur place ou vous pouvez apporter votre déjeuner avec vous. Après le déjeuner, nous commençons à descendre vers le canyon de Prapastiile Zarnestilor, une région merveilleuse avec des vues impressionnantes, comme celles décrites dans un conte de fées.

Profitez d'une journée de randonnée dans l'un des plus beaux parcs nationaux de Roumanie, le parc national de Piatra Craiului. Avec son calcaire blanc et sa crête impressionnante, cette montagne a quelque chose à offrir à tous les types de randonneurs. La randonnée aujourd'hui offre tout, des canyons aux chalets de montagne et aux crêtes de calcaire blanc. Préparez-vous simplement à des vues spectaculaires.
Les montagnes de Piatra Craiului sont toujours un défi. Les itinéraires sont beaux, accessibles, les endroits peu fréquentés, donc s'arrêter à Cabana Curmătura est toujours une bonne solution, d'autant plus que le petit chalet est exactement à l'intersection des sentiers de Piatra Craiului. Le chalet est construit dans une belle prairie ouverte, connue sous le nom de Poiana Curmăturii. Au chalet, il y a un restaurant où vous pourrez déguster une cuisine roumaine simple ou leur célèbre tarte maison.
Si le parc national de Piatra Craiului est probablement le meilleur endroit à visiter en Roumanie, la gorge de Prapastiie Zarnestiului est un point de repère incontournable. Taillée dans des parois rocheuses spectaculaires d'une longueur d'environ 2 km, la gorge de Prapastiile Zarnestilor se distingue par un aspect monumental dû aux parois verticales, avec des hauteurs dépassant à certains endroits 200 m. Dans cette zone, la température baisse rapidement de plusieurs degrés, car le soleil ne pénètre à l'intérieur de la gorge que quelques heures par jour, ce qui vous offre l'occasion de vous détendre et de vous reposer au frais, pendant l'été.

This experience was everything. Some parts were steep hiking and some easy. We had cloudy weather and nice and sunny. It was great to be guided Dinu, an experienced person who knew the ins and outs of the area. The views were amazing and the wild life on the way up and down was great. Highly recommend this hike to all that come to enjoy the fresh air and the pitoresc views.

What a great experience! This was a beautiful hike with plenty of gorgeous views and copious amounts of wild flowers (on April 1st!). Radu, who grew up hiking these mountains, was a fantastic guide. Not only did he provide lots of information about the area, he also offered hiking poles and gaiters for the sometimes muddy trails. The weather forecast was for rain but we never had any. In fact, near the lodge, we even had some blue skies and the clouds moved enough to see the mountain summits. Fantastic experience. Highly recommended!!

I can’t say enough great things about Day Trips Brașov. Ramona is incredibly well organized and extremely knowledgeable. I also had Hea as a guide who was terrific. I used Day Trips Brașov for three private tours. The first was Bran Castle and Pestera Mountain Villages, the second Peleș Castle and the Bucegi Natural Park and the third was the full day Pestera hike. All three I would highly recommend. They are the perfect mix of history in the region and natural beauty.

Ramona was an awesome guide on our hike. She accommodated all our varied skill levels. The scenery was outstanding!! The food at the hut was simple but delicious. I would highly recommend taking this hike with Ramona. Not to be missed.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE! As a solo traveler sometimes I book things last minute, I booked this trip a day before the hike, as soon as I booked I emailed the guide just to make sure that I am all set for the next day. NO one responded to me until the morning of the hike, the guide told me that she has a rule set that should not allow anyone to book 48 hrs prior. So the morning of the hike, she needed to find someone who would be able to be my guide. Honestly, I booked this because of all the great reviews regarding the tour guide, they were all great. Except that I DID NOT get the great guide, the tour guide I got was not the best. He was very slooow, did not talk much, and I feel like I wasted my money. This hike is not worth the money, it is a very quick and easy hike. If you are a hiker I would recommend getting a taxi and doing this hike on your own. Or make sure to get a tour guide that is younger and is able to tell you more stories .
Hi Linda, I'm really sorry for your experience. We are really trying hard to make everyone's tour amazing. Unfortunately I believe that was a technical problem with your booking, because the platform send me an email way to late, in the middle of the night when I was not awake. So, I saw the booking/message just in the morning, 30 minutes before the start of the tour, is not that we ignore your messages. And I contacted you straight away to find a solution. As well, we set up a window of 48 h before the tours when nobody can do bookings just to be able to organize everything better. But it seems that only this tour somehow got uncover. We already fix this thenical issue. I'm really sorry your paste didn't fit your guide paste and he didn't tell you enough stories. As we mention at the description, this kind of hike is not for very experienced hikers, is for the beginers/ intermediar level people that want to spend time in the nature, walk for 4 or 5 hours and see beautiful landscapes in a company of a guide., that will keep them safe. This is probably the reason he walk slowly. Again, I'm sorry for your experience and we are trying to learn from this and improve our level. Have a great day! Ramona .
Absolutely amazing hiking tour couldn't recommend it more. Stunning views, great workout and our guide Laurentiu was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and just an all round lovely man to spend the day with. Won't regret booking it!

I went on this hiking at the end of December, and it was an amazing experience, with different kind of landscapes throughout the day, lots of snow and great views. Having an experienced guide in these hikings is very important, specially if you are not familiar with the regions, since the Forrest can be very dense, with lots of different paths it would be easy to get lost. And although it was around 5/6 hours hike (and we are beginners!) it went really well, as we walked at our own pace, with stop midway for a typical Romanian lunch in a cute cabin :) Ramona was very helpful even before the trip started, explaining the material needed and always answering our questions through WhatsApp! She also gave us lots of tips during the hike (and lended some equipment to walk easily in the snow), very knowledgeable of the region and the Romanian culture in general. Basically we couldn’t be more happy with this tour, I really recommend to anyone looking for a great day at the nature!!
