Randonnée à la Laguna Humantay - 1 jour
Description
Prise en charge à l'hôtel - transport jusqu'au point de départ : Nous viendrons vous chercher à votre hôtel entre 4h30 et 5h00 pour commencer le voyage vers Mollepata, où nous nous arrêterons pour le petit-déjeuner (non inclus). Nous poursuivrons ensuite notre route vers Soraypampa. Ascension vers le lagon : C’est ici que commence la randonnée d’une heure et demie jusqu’à la lagune Humantay. La randonnée est physiquement exigeante, il est donc important d'être bien préparé. Au début de la randonnée, les températures sont froides, il est donc nécessaire de porter des vêtements chauds et des chaussures de randonnée. Si la marche devient trop exigeante pour vous, vous avez la possibilité de louer un cheval. Arrivée à la lagune Humantay : Au terme de l'ascension, vous pourrez profiter d'un moment de repos, admirer le lagon et prendre des photos. Descente, déjeuner et retour à Cusco : Nous entamons notre descente vers la base, déjeunons, puis prenons un bus pour retourner à Cusco. La visite se termine à Cusco vers 18h00.

Very nice experience, exhausting but the guide Wilian indicated us at all times options and gave us help to make the climb more bearable. She also took very nice pictures!

Excellent tour really. We were picked up at the hotel at 4:00am and returned in the afternoon. The guide Javier is excellent and his attention was first class. We were lucky enough to see an avalanche as we arrived. The arrival at the lagoon is wonderful, the view is amazing. When the tour starts it is cold and after sunrise you die of heat so I patch up wearing warm thermal garments and you can take them off without problem. Then in a backpack or in a bag they don't pack. From where the vehicles leave you to the lagoon is an ascent of about two and a half hours super demanded. Take into account the footwear, carry water and be prepared for enough physical effort to be able to travel on quite steep terrain. Horses are hired to make the crossing (just to climb) but I think the fun is to go on foot. When you are in the lagoon the landscape is majestic and except for the voices of the people who are there you do not hear anything. The lagoon is 4200 meters high so it is recommended that you do not take the tour in the first days of the trip to be able to acclimate before going. If you are in Cusco perfectly you can do some things before visiting that place. There is a stop halfway where for a sun stamp your passport with the legend "Humantay Lagoon", so I recommend to take it to have that memory.
