David is a knowledgeable and responsible guide who brought everyone through the amazing green to explore the beautiful lakes within. The home made mushroom soup served at the end was awesome too

I loved it! It was so nice to get out in nature and not worry about getting lost, as I sometimes do. David was a great tour guide and he has so much knowledge and respect for the nature. He showed us all the types of berries, trees, and bog plants in the area. We even saw a poisonous snake and David was fully informed and ready to handle any situation (nothing bad happened). The lake views are gorgeous and the air is so fresh.

It was really nice. The guide knew not only of the beautiful places but also a lot about the plants and trees. He spoke English well, was friendly, and served us yummy homemade soup made with mushrooms he foraged himself! It helped that the weather was absolutely perfect in term of temperature and sunshine!

I can't express how amazing it was. I joined as a solo traveller on 1st May. The park and lakes are stunning, you will never forget this park. Food, refreshments, toilets all available and guide made the best mushroom soup for us. We saw lots of wildlife and guide spent a long time explaining to us about the plants. You do not need to be an experienced hiker or have much gear - I am a totally urban person and walked it no problem in normal trainers. One thing I would say is it is very uneven/mud/rocky terrain so if you have any mobility issues or use any aids I would suggest to check with Viator in advance if it is a suitable tour for you. Thank you so much to the guide, I can't wait to show my family all the photos of the park.

We did the booking through Tripadvisor, but when we arrived we found that our reservation had not been taken into account. It was quite an uncomfortable situation at the start. Fortunately, the guide was very kind and resourceful. He arranged a solution for our transport by organizing an Uber, and also improvised the meal by offering us a sandwich, since it had not been planned for us. Although the beginning was disappointing due to the lack of coordination, the guide’s attitude helped to save the experience. Even so, I believe it is important to improve the management of reservations to avoid this kind of problem.

I had a great few hours outside Helsinki. I get to enjoy beautiful scenery ama fresh air. David took us around some stunning lakes and shared interesting facts. Really appreciate the mushroom soup, it was delicious! And the mull wine was just what I needed to warm up my body. Had a really great time with this tour.
