If you are looking for a great hike in the Atlas Mountains as a day trip from Marrakesh, then this is for you. Pick up and communication were great. Transportation was comfortable and had AC! Brahim met us at Imlil and discussed the planned hike over mint tea. We hiked to a nearby saddle pass, enjoyed a lovely Berber lunch with fantastic views. A small subset of our party decided to climb to an adjacent peak and were rewarded with amazing views and photos. Brahim was a great guide, tailoring pace to all members of our party. It was a great day out and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

The mountains were a nice break from the city. Hassan picked us up on time at an easy-to-find location. Omar was our guide for the hike and he was excellent. He made sure we were comfortable with the pace and invited us to his home for mint tea and walnuts after the hike. The lunch was excellent - just what we needed after the ascent. This was an excellent tour.

The hike was amazing with breathtaking views of the mountains. We had a lot of fun with Abdel and learnt a lot from him. Highly recommended!

Guide & trip was recommended by a friend that meant background to day was limited at time of booking. Pickup & transport from Marrakesh went very well. Our guide (Brahim) tailored the walk to our family and conditions (it was mid 30s centigrade) including top-ups of water. Brahim was chatty & friendly with us and others on our trail. Having studied Natural Sciences his knowledge of local flora & geomorphology was a bonus and conversation drifted easily to include local culture and conservation. Lunch time stop was very welcome with a tasty tagline, shade & views of the mountain. To help Brahim & future visitors I would suggest that he could provide more details or links on Trip Advisor including multiday options to stay overnight in the mountains for customers planning a holiday from abroad.

My eldest son and I spent an amazing day up in the mountains. It was a FULL day and totally tailored to our needs and fitness which was brilliant. Climbed up to 2500m and had lunch on a ridge. Then wondered down into a few valleys and stopped off for impromptu Moroccan tea and cake ! Overall it was stunning end to an amazing holiday and the tour guide was an amazing person! Highly recommended

Abdul our guide was an absolute star. As we were the only ones that booked we had a private guide experience treking from Imlil up to a 3000m point taking in the scenery and learning about the local culture. Abdul prepared us a tasty pack lunch (no cook and mule due to low numbers). On the way back we had a dunk in the beautiful waterfall to cool off. If like us you fancy a solid days hiking in the mountains without the time to do a 2-3 day Toubkal submit then go no further!

We booked the 10km day hike for a group of 12- Brahim was very responsive and accommodating. Unfortunately just before the walk Brahim let us know he had a 10 day hike booked so wouldn’t be able to take us, but arranged for a local guide Houssein to take us. Houssein was brilliant- paced the walk really well. It was a challenging hike, up hill constantly for 2.5 hours. Some of us stayed at the “pass” and others continued to the summit which was another 30 mins up steep shale. Lunch was basic but tasty along with some fresh squeezed orange juice. The views were spectacular and worth the effort. Brilliant day and highly recommended!

An excellent day with the kindest guide. We stayed at a swank local place and appreciated the guide’s Inside view of life in the amazing village. He was flexible with pace nd made the climb enjoyable.

Great day out, easy pick up and drive from central Marrakech. Beautiful scenery and Hassan was very friendly and knowledgeable. Lunch high in the mountains was good

We had a fantastic, experience hiking in the Atlas mountains with our fabulous guide, Brahim. Picked up in Marrakech by a lovely friendly and safe driver and we drove an hour and half to the village of Imlil. From there we started our beautiful hike into the mountains. Brahim was a very friendly and safe guide, happily telling us about his Berber culture and the stunning surroundings. Lunch was delicious and was served to us away from all the tourist areas at a place next to his family's home in a village, in the mountains. Then we continued our hiking through tiny mountain villages and eventually descended back to Imlil before being driven back to Marrakech. The hike was about 5 hours long and Brahim judged our pace perfectly. The whole experience is about 8 1/2 hrs long and so worth it. Thank you Brahim for one of the most wonderful hiking experiences we have ever had!
