Lors de cette visite d'une journée de la Cappadoce, vous visiterez Derinkuyu Underground City, le plus grand site fouillé de ce type en Turquie. À 85 mètres de profondeur, la ville à plusieurs niveaux pouvait accueillir jusqu'à 20 000 personnes. Poursuivez votre route vers la superbe vallée de l'Ihlara, où vous profiterez d'une randonnée panoramique à travers un canyon luxuriant creusé par la rivière Melendiz. En chemin, découvrez d'anciennes églises rupestres datant du VIIe au XIe siècle, dont beaucoup sont ornées de fresques remarquablement bien conservées et aux couleurs vives représentant des scènes bibliques. Arrêtez-vous à Belisirma, un village typique d'Anatolie, pour déjeuner et visiter certaines des églises ouvertes aux touristes. Faites un arrêt au lac Nar (près de Gölü), un lac de cratère volcanique historiquement considéré comme possédant des pouvoirs curatifs et autrefois considéré comme un site spirituel par les civilisations locales. Entouré de légendes et de respect culturel, il offre un aperçu paisible du passé mystique de la région.
