My reservation said it was at 8 am. Showed up at 7:50 am and the place had a sign that they open at 9 am, so we waited until 10 am, no one showed up. Sent them a message via instagram, no response. Called the number, no response. Was looking forward to enjoy this ride :( Would recommend to book directly with them, there could have been a communication issue between tripadvisor and the shop. I really hope I can get my refund since I paid upfront
Excellent hike with Sammy! Met in San Pancho and drove towards Punta Mita then hiked the trail up to Monkey mountain learning about the culture and vegetation along the way. Sammy has a great sense of humor and is a great guide. Highly recommended!
Incredible experience; Sam is such a warm, personable and knowledgeable guide. We did the early morning hike up Monkey Mountain; an energetic and wonderful way to start the day. I would absolutely recommend Sam's tours and hope to return to try the other ones.
The view at the summit of Monkey Mountain is breathtaking. A challenging, but not overwhelming. Wearing proper footwear is a must. Our guide, Sam was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the region and answered all of our questions. Would not hesitate to use his services again in the future, and would go on this hike a second time.
Sam is an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable and fun to be around. The hike was challenging with the inclines. A few spots where footing was hard to keep but we were just wearing tennis shoes.
Amazing hike with Sam. He’s a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and made the experience great for all 4 of us. (A couple with 2 teenage boys) The hike was challenging for some of us since we don’t hike much. Doable in tennis shoes, though I would’ve liked to have had a little more grip in a few spots. Sam’s English was impressively good and he spoke to many in Spanish along the way also. He was great at pointing out trees and animals and giving us the history of the area. The views atop monkey mountain were great too!
This was a wonderful guided tour! Highly recommend. Sam is an amazing wealth of knowledge- he taught us so much about the area. Historical, political, financial, environmental, wildlife…you name it! The hike itself was pretty challenging in some spots, so I would recommend hiking boots and not just sneakers. Amazing views at the top!
Sam took us on a hike we would probably not have explored on our own. He is very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and history of the area. It was great fun and we felt a sense of accomplishment for a lazy beach holiday.
Sam was great. Provided a lot of history about SP and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend this trip.
Sam was a super friendly, knowledgeable guide. Ecology, history, culture and current events--we discussed it all. He even let me practice my lousy spanish!!
