Randonnée de Magome à Tsumago au départ de Nagoya
Description
De Nagoya, prendre le train puis le bus pour Magome, une des villes de poste le long du Nakasendo, l'ancienne route marchande reliant Tokyo et Kyoto pendant la période Edo. De là, randonnez le sentier de 7,8 kilomètres de long jusqu'à la prochaine ville de Tsumago, un village de montagne encore plus ancien et plus beau. La randonnée mène sur de vieux sentiers à travers les forêts et la nature époustouflante toute l'année. Au Tsumago, vous goûterez le Hoba Miso local pour le déjeuner ainsi que de délicieuses glaces en dessert. Terminez votre visite par la visite du musée de la ville ou par un atelier de bois optionnel (coût supplémentaire).

Prenez le train de Nagoya à Nakatsugawa.
Visitez la ville relais de Magome, faites le tour des boutiques et profitez de la vue depuis le point d'observation.
Profitez d'une randonnée de 2 à 3 heures dans la nature le long de l'ancienne autoroute Nakasendo entre Magome et Tsumago.
Savourez un délicieux déjeuner Hoba Miso dans un Ryokan à Tsumago.
Visitez la ville relais de Tsumago, le musée Wakihonjin et dégustez une glace à la châtaigne.
Prenez le train de retour de la gare de Nagiso à Nagoya.

This is the tour my husband and I were looking forward to most on our honeymoon. It definitely lived up to our expectations! For this trip we focusing on nature/history/culture, so this hike was right up our alley. We went on the second day of our trip, and our guide Patricia quickly felt like a friend, and was open to any questions we had not only about the historic towns and landmarks on the trail, but also generally about life in Japan. The food was delicious, and very much welcome after the hike. We did not do the wood carving add-on, but only because we didn’t want to carry the wooden dishes so early on our trip (we packed light). However if we had planned on the hike near the end of our trip, I would have definitely wanted to do the wood carving add-on. Would recommend this tour if you are into nature/history/culture. We also plan to do more tours with NagoyaIsNotBoring if we are nearby in the future.

What an awesome tour. Despite the light rain all day, Desiree, our guide made the hike memorable. She was well organised and all the transport went smoothly. Desiree was knowledgeable on the region history, and ensured we had plenty of time for photos and to explore the Historic Magome and Tsumago. The lunch was delicious. All in all a fabulous day and so invigorating being in the forest. Highly recommend this tour - the company name says it all Nagoya is not Boring.
