It's worth it

Best organization on the part of Operator. We had a very nice, helpful and experienced guide. The porters were very helpful and the cook conjured up best food (we had ordered vegetarian food) three times a day on the table. Our rented sleeping bags were high quality, there was no freezing. Cons: There was really nothing. Except maybe the public toilets. Conclusion: We were thrilled.

Incredible experience

We booked online and once we arrived in Cusco we went to the office of Andean Great Treks. They explained to us in detail the course of these 4 days and informed us of the material to take. First of all, we were lucky enough to be alone with the guide. During the trail, everything went very well: - incredible trace - delicious meal thanks to Hermitanio our cook - camp, equipment were nickel (we had to rent sleeping bags and sticks extra but we recommend them) The porters were taking care of us. Julian, our guide, was perfect. Throughout the trail, he gave us information about nature, wildlife and all the ruins on the route. During most of the explanations, he had a book to show us pictures, photos, diagrams of what he was talking about. We thank him very much for his kindness and all the knowledge he passed on to us. When we returned to Cusco by taxi, we were surprised to have to pay him (this had to be included). We told the agency that it was a mistake and they immediately refunded us. We recommend as much the experience of this Trail as the agency. Everything was organized perfectly.

Inca Trail 3 days

The option does not appear, but we actually did the Inca trail in 3 days. I totally recommend it, this way you divide the hard stage (2/4) into 1/3 and 2/3. We had the great luck of having a spectacular cook, a group of very strong muleteers, and special mention to Rodia: a guide given in his work, who conveys the Inca passion and knew how to carry at a pace that ensured success, always watching that we were well. The arrival in Intipunku was brutal, from there you turn left and the jackpot arrives, Machu Picchu. Long live the Inca way!

Classic Inca hike

This tour was top notch. Starting with the people in the office who helped us organize the tour. We had the best tour guide Javier, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. The porters did an amazing job, and our chef Chino cooked the most delicious Andean dishes for us. We felt like royalty and appreciate everyone who helped make this trip so special for us.

Unforgettable Experience / Inca Trail (4 days)

We (2 friends) had booked the 4-day Inca Trail from 10/8/2022 to 10/11/2022. We were already planning the trip in 2019 and had already made a deposit. Due to the pandemic we could finally do the trip in 2022. Elmer, Boss of Andean Great Treks, still allowed the deposit to be valid in 2022. The communication with Elmer regarding booking, organization, arrival, process was excellent. He answered all questions often a few hours later. In Cusco we visited him in the office to settle the last questions. Our tour guide, Javier, was great. His extensive knowledge of flora and fauna as well as the history of Peru is remarkable. His English is very good and he has a great sense of humor. Javier and the porter team made our trail an unforgettable experience. We would book the trip again every time with this organization. Our special thanks to the great team that was with us on the trail: Chino, Gregorio, Braulio, Guillermo, Epifanio, Leandro and, of course, Javier. All the best for you and thank you very much for everything.
