Super experience, beautiful estate, we visited a waterfall, everything was great.
Very good experience in the jungle knowing about coffee and cocoa. Ronaldo guide had a lot of experience and made the tour something special
Excellent guide, nice presentation of organic coffee and chocolate production; the ecolodge is fabulous
An interesting tour and nice mix of walking and learning with a nice lunch. Sadam was the guide and was knowledgeable and entertaining. I understand the comments about the part about how great the lodge is is only about 10 minutes then it gets into wildlife of Colombia. The only part that annoyed me was online in said Trip Advisor's price was in your home currency but after you pay the receipt shows that the rate quoted is in USD.
The most incredible tour I have ever been on. Decor guy, a true expert incredible thing for your back he spoke to us like a adult and knowledgeable ones at that our lunch was delicious..
Amazing tour, lovely walk in the forest and interesting to learn about the coffee and chocolate. Highly recommend it. The tour does run over time, not a 7hr day, but a 10hour day. Expect to be back to Santa marta around 7pm
This was a very average tour that had no highlights. What the blurb promised was not what we experienced. It was a walk along the road in Minca, and hike to a river not a waterfall, a couple of talks about coffee and chocolate and the animal talk was just showing us pictures of wildlife in Minca also lunch at the hostel which was okay.. Definitely not worth the money.
A very good day spent in the Minca area. Tony, our guide, was very friendly and quite knowledgeable. His concern for the local ecology was very evident. Both the coffee and cacao parts of the tour were well done with adequate samples provided. The break at the river was refreshing and the lunch was excellent.
I was in this place and the experience was wonderful. I absolutely recommend it. What an amazing plan.
We walked into the woods near Minca and learned about endemic bamboo species, tasted fresh coffee berries and coffee straight from the source, in November while the coffee farm was harvesting and processing. We went swimming in the river then ate lunch overlooking the beautiful forest. We learned about biodiversity, cacao and chocolate production (we made chocolates and had another chocolate for dessert too). Thank you Tony! It was an excellent tour and exactly what I hoped it would be, and even included a taxi to and from Minca. Absolutely worth the price and a great tour for any lovers of cocoa and coffee.
