Cette randonnée n’est pas seulement une vue imprenable, mais aussi une expérience historique et spirituelle. Nous commencerons la randonnée de la nuit dans la montagne Moïse, où il est dit que Moïse a reçu les Dix Commandements. Atteindre le sommet juste à temps pour le lever du soleil, et être émerveillé par la vue imprenable sur les montagnes du Sinaï. ️ Ensuite, nous descendrons pour visiter l’ancien monastère Sainte-Catherine, datant du VIe siècle, et explorer la chapelle du Buisson Ardent ⛰, un lieu sacré qui existe depuis plus de 1 400 ans. Un passeport est requis.

Nous commencerons la randonnée d'une nuit sur la montagne Moïse, la randonnée jusqu'au sommet prend généralement 5 à 6 heures juste à temps pour le lever du soleil, et être émerveillé par la vue imprenable sur les montagnes du Sinaï.

Terrible. The driver had a bad attitude, Rafiki were useless, our guide lost half the people so the rest of us had to wait for ages and missed going to the library. A proper Sg1t Show
Amazing trip very helpful hosts in Rafiki Hostel fully recommended. They made my day great in Dahab including the hike.

We booked a Mt. Sinai hike through Rafiki Hostels and received confirmation from their team. This is an overnight hike that begins around 10:00 PM, meaning you’re already mentally and physically preparing for a challenging, sleep-deprived night. When we arrived at the meeting point, we were shocked to learn that Rafiki had no record of our booking. We stood around from 10:00 PM until 12:00 AM, exhausted and confused, only to be crammed into a small uncomfortable car with no proper arrangements for our group of six. There was no apology, no explanation, and certainly no refund. It was a disorganised mess that turned what should have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience into a stressful ordeal. Given the nature of this hike — overnight, physically demanding, and requiring good preparation — the lack of professionalism was unacceptable. I strongly urge other travelers to avoid booking with Rafiki Hostels.
I was staying at Rafiki Hostel and took part in some activities they organised, which was amazing. They organized everything, picked the group up, and dropped us off. They organize not only day trips but also general social events! Highly recommended for solo travelers.

I did the Saint Catherine Hiking with Rafiki in Dahab, it was a great hiking, beautiful, with good company, beautiful landscapes. If you go to Dahab it's one of the best things to do.

Hands down that was the best time i went to st Catherine. The organization was on point (renata 🔥🔥) the group was super lovely and the whole trip was very memorable! Would definitely recommend!

This was my second time staying at Rafiki Hostel, and once again, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The people here are incredible! Roba stands out as the coolest and best event organizer, Reham is an amazing chef, Abdulla is the laid-back, chill guy, and Gouda brings endless laughs with his great sense of humor. The events are fantastic, especially the Mountain Music event at St. Catherine—it’s truly unforgettable. The privacy is excellent, and the overall vibes are just perfect. I highly recommend staying here, and I’m already looking forward to my third visit!
