Randonnée avec Husky à Akureyri

Amazing experience. Of course the dogs were great but the owners especially made our trip! Felt like a hike with our best friends! Highly recommend and I never leave reviews!!

My husband and i loved this so much. It was very different from any other tour we did. Couple was lovely, dogs were perfect. So much fun!

As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by María and Gunni—and just as enthusiastically by the wonderful dogs. From the very first moment, they made sure that everyone felt truly at home. The walk with María and one of the huskies each flew by. She told us so much about life with the animals, how it all began, and shared many exciting, personal, and touching stories with us. Back on the property, we sat inside with the dogs, enjoying drinks, and continued chatting. We immediately felt at home, welcome, and accepted. Time flew by so quickly that we completely forgot to take photos in the end—but spending time together, petting the dogs, and getting little kisses from the huskies was much more important anyway. AMAZING experience! My daughter and I took this excursion last summer while we were on an Icelandic cruise. We are returning this summer and we can't wait to do it again. The owners/guides were friendly and kind. We had lots of time to play with the dogs before heading out on the hike. The dogs were so playful and sweet. It was the highlight of our trip.

Amazing and lovely people that can talk for hours about their dogs. Dogs are super fun to be around and are super cute. If you are in Akureyri DO NOT SKIP THIS.

Absolutely amazing time with the huskies and their owners! So lovely, so informative and the dogs were just gorgeous and such a pleasure to hike with. From the welcome to the hiking gear and pats at the whole experience was exceptional. Recommend as a must do experience. This is such a down to earth experience where you get to really enjoy the dogs and learn all about them with this friendly and passionate owners.

Gunni and Maria, both most delightful, welcomed us into their home sharing their love and enthusiasm for all things husky. We had plenty of time for petting and cuddling before our hike and my daughter and I would go back in a heartbeat if Akureyri wasn’t so far from Chicago. The best is all their huskies live in the house with Gunni and Maria, not in a kennel and are all very happy, healthy, extremely friendly and well trained.

I had the best day walking the huskies along a picturesque track. Gunni and Maria were very hospitable back at their husky farm. The dogs loved having us around and patting them. Great for adults and families.

It was so fun meeting all the Huskies and seeing all their excitement when new people came around or even when the other dogs were playing with each other. They were so funny all wanting attention and competing for attention and wanting pets. The hike itself was great! I loved taking an easy stroll through the forest with some excited huskies! They were so excited and friendly. Definitely glad I found this as an option. And Gunnar and Maria were great to talk to while there. And Gunnar gave us a lot of good info about Iceland while walking with him
