Rancho Típico Don Juan, excursion à cheval

Description

This tour was absolutely exceptional! It was a huge highlight of my trip. Randall and his father have a stunning property with so much wildlife to explore. I learned so much on this tour. Randall is very kind and makes sure you feel safe and comfortable on the horses. I also enjoyed the hike, waterfall and the delicious Costa Rican lunch! Muchas gracias, Randall and family, for making me feel a part of yours. I can't wait to come back again. Pura Vida!
This became a total highlight of our trip. Randall, our guide, was absolutely incredible and knowledgeable, and above all, professional and kind. The horse riding was a blast and the trains we experienced were stunning. There were a few great stops along the way and a home cooked lunch to top it all off. Incredible value and even more incredible experience. Would recommend 100% and would go again if ever back.
What an amazing experience! From pick-up to drop off, Randall made us feel so welcome on our excursion on his family’s stunning ranch. It felt like we were riding through the garden of Eden! The horses were docile and perfect for beginning riders. Randall’s extensive knowledge and passion for the nature of the region were evident and appreciated. And lunch was delicious. We loved our experience and think you will too!
We did this tour yesterday and it was an amazing experience! Our guide’s name was Randall and the property where we rode the horses has been owned by his family for over 90 years. It is a very large property with horses and cows and beautiful scenery! It feels like you are in the jungle and we actually did hike a little in the jungle as well as visit a little waterfall where everyone had a chance to swim and get a “Costa Rican massage.” Randall was a great host and told us about much of the history of Costa Rica. You could see how proud he is of his country and his family’s property. They gave us a very authentic Costa Rican lunch and then took us back to our hotel. Randall even hooked me up with some great local coffee! Overall, this was a great adventure and one we highly recommend!
Amazing experience!! Great guide, very informative, made us feel very safe on the horses and spectacular food. Even had time for a dip in the waterfalls which were stunning and no other tourists around. Ended the trip with a lovely home cooked traditional Costa Rican meal. Couldn’t recommend more!!!
It was a wonderful experience! The horses are well cared for and super sweet. You do a small walk through the jungle and you visit a waterfall to cool off. The ride with the horses is fantastic! Beautiful surroundings and wildlife spotting. Super good and fine guide who knows everything about the animals and nature. A delicious lunch at the end. Definitely recommended!
We had the most amazing time, the property is incredible. The horses are also very easy to ride! We ended at the waterfalls and got to do blue and red clay masks while swimming in the pools. The Costa Rica massage and swimming just put the cherry on top of the experience. Then we had one of the most amazing meals I have ever had. Thank you for making this trip unforgettable ✨
Randall was a fantastic guide. I would highly recommend. The horses were friendly enough for beginners and kids
The parade was fantastic! The activity was perfect, Randall was a great instructor and with great motivation for his vocation, he made us have an incredible time. I had never ridden a horse before, and with his instructions and his beautiful horses, it was a very good experience. Additionally, we were lucky to spot two very difficult birds to see, the griffon vulture and the white-tailed hawk. Also, halfway through, there is a walk through the forest where we were able to see frogs, spiders, and chicks. The food/lunch was also very good, the chicken casado was a 10, the chicken was very tender. The pickup and return to the hotel was also very good, super punctual and with good conversation. It has been a pleasure, we highly recommend it! We will definitely return!
We had an amazing trip and were so lucky to have the hole experience by our self. The horses, the nature and the waterfall was superb and we enjoyed every minute. Definitualy out best experience here in Costa Rica and give our best recommandations.
