START Notre aventure commence avec le ramassage à l'hôtel, puis nous voyageons pour 3 - housr à la ville de Laya, où notre station de VTT est situé. Après avoir dégusté un copieux Petit-déjeuner, il est temps de se préparer et de se préparer pour l’expérience d’une vie! EXPÉRIENCE RED VALLEY Accompagnés de notre Guide Expert, nous monterons en VTT vers les montagnes, en faisant des arrêts en cours de route pour des photos incroyables. Le paysage est à couper le souffle, et il est très courant d’apercevoir des lamas et des alpagas – nous nous arrêterons même pour nous approcher et prendre des photos mémorables avec eux. À la fin du parcours en VTT, nous ferons une randonnée de 20 minutes pour atteindre le point de vue de la vallée rouge, un endroit idéal pour de superbes photos panoramiques.
RAINBOW MOUNTAIN EXPERIENCE Nous continuons avec une randonnée de 40 - minutes pour atteindre la célèbre Rainbow Mountain . Au sommet, prenez votre temps pour profiter de la vue spectaculaire sur les Andes péruviennes, les vallées colorées et l'imposant glacier Ausangate. C'est l'occasion idéale pour explorer, capturer des photos inoubliables et même rencontrer des alpagas sympathiques pour les images emblématiques de Rainbow Mountain. Une fois trempés dans la beauté, nous commencerons notre voyage de retour en VTT jusqu’à la base. De là, notre transport privé nous mènera à un restaurant local, où nous dégusterons un déjeuner bien mérité et réconfortant. FIN DE TOURNÉE Notre visite se termine dans le Main Square Cusco (centre-ville) entre 16h30 et 17h30.

Everything was great. Everything was as promised and planned. Our tour guide Carlos was great. Pickup was as planned.
We booked this tour with our 8 year old and 9 year old children after reading extensively about what this tour would have entailed. Firstly, the pick up is very early in the morning, 4am. Then it’s 45 mins of driving around Cusco to fill the bus and then 1 1/2 hours to the breakfast stop. It is a rushed breakfast. Buffet style but you have to line up and get your food, eat, use the bathroom and be back on the bus in 30 mins. The drive from this restaurant to the ATV station was extremely bumpy, uneven, winding and rough. The bus ride from hell. This is another 1 1/2 hours. Anyone suffering with motion sickness would have a difficult time even before actually getting up to the higher altitude as the bus ride makes you feel nauseous. We were told we would have a 20 minute session to practise using the ATVs but it was a mere 5 minutes. Everything was just very rushed. After getting to where the ATVs have to park the hike is NOT a 30 minute hike! We spent 3 days prior in Ollantaytambo and 3 days prior in Cusco before booking this tour and it was VERY difficult for my children at the altitude. The hike would have taken us about 1 1/2 hours going slowly and resting often at this altitude and we are quite an active family. The tour guide kept telling me: “I have to go meet the rest of the group, if you want to go back you can go back to the meeting point” This was after explaining to him that my children have to go slowly because of the altitude. There was no encouragement, it was more a rush to get to the top of the mountain and rush you back down again. Before booking we saw breakfast, lunch and oxygen included, however thank goodness we bought our own oxygen because the guide had none. Or if he had he never once offered any to my kids even after seeing how they struggled. On this tour I did not like the treatment from the tour guide, Alex. I felt we were keeping him back the entire time and everything was just rushing to get it completed. The “rest of the group” clearly mattered more. There was no offer of eucalyptus oil, Florida water, coca mints, oxygen….nothing to show that there was any real concern for my family. If booking with a family I would definitely look for another tour company…one with more experience taking kids and with a bit more compassion for persons in the group.

Great experience to ride the atv then horses if you have issues with high altitude. They have horses waiting around to assist you up closer to the mountain then it’s a 10 minute walk . The only bad part was getting up at 3AM for their 3:30 pickup at your hotel then a long ride to a buffet breakfast . After that another long ride to meet the ATV station to drive up to rainbow mountain . It’s fun but we had high elevation issues so we were nausea and dizzy all thru out the tour . Carlos was Helpful in helping us bedding it through and got us a horse which we have to pay extra but it’s worth it at the moment . Once you reach the top it’s worth . They have food vendors , picture with the cool sunglasses llama and of course the rainbow Mountain View . Carlos is a great fun tour guide with great vibe .
The atvs are a must! The experience was great. It’s still a tough hike up but the atvs help get you up the trek

This tour was amazing. The guide was very engaging. He kept us updated throughout the trip. He made sure everyone was always accounted for and safe.
The guides are very attentive and were near us all the time to assist in the mountain climb that is not easy.
Wonderful experience from start to end. It met all the expectations and the whole tour was easy to follow with amazing views. Definetely recommended.
