Everything about Africa Vacation Safaris was fantastic. Joseph and Denis did a wonderful job of setting up our tour, answering our questions and booking the accommodations. When we arrived in Kenya, we were picked up at the airport by Joseph. One of the first things he said to us was that his passion was nature, and it really showed. He did a great job of driving, helping us to manage a new culture (where we should buy things), and when we got to the Mara, he put together amazing game drives. Everything exceeded expectations.

After researching for months on different agencies, we decided to go with them even though I had received cheaper quotes. Denis the person who helped us arrange our trip was very patient, I made many changes. I never felt pressured to book with them and all the information I requested was sent to me on time. The whole trip was perfect, they took care of everything, and I mean everything! Our guides in Masai Mara and Serengeti were AMAZING. We recently completed a 4days/3night safari with Africa Vacation Safaris and we could not have been more delighted. From the time of booking to the time we were dropped off, everything went super smooth. We booked it at a very last minute and reached out to few tour operators, Africa Vacation Safaris was the most responsive. Denis replied to all our emails within minutes and suggested the most suited itinerary for our trip as well as choice of lodges where we can stay. Joseph was assigned as our guide and driver for the trip. He was waiting at the airport with a big welcoming smile and he kept us entertained through out the trip. He picked us up in a fairly new modified Land Cruiser which had a electric cool box with plenty of water supply, UK 3 pin power plug for charging our devices on the go, 4 x binoculars and comfortable spacious seating arrangements. We were in the same vehicle for the duration of the trip. We were lucky to see all the Big five on this safari and lions in particular was spotted countless times. For us it was very important to have a company that we could trust, and from the very beginning since contacting Africa Vacation Safaris I felt we were in good hands. In particular Denis at the Nairobi office was very helpful and being in touch with him during the safari proved to be useful. The arrangements made for the safari were spot on. We really appreciated picking us up and driving us back to the airport. Small details matter. The itinerary we were given was kept almost to the point. Only when bad weather interfered with things changes slightly. Our Kenyan driver, Joseph was very professional and a good guy to have around. Our first game drive at Masai Mara was on December 24 and it was quite crowded. In any case, he knew his way around and we saw some amazing wildlife on our very first afternoon.

It was a fun trip planned by Africa vacation safaris to the Masai Mara national reserve. Our guide was excellent and showed adequate knowledge for animals and birds. Joseph is a passionate guide whom I will recommend 100%. Denis on the other hand suggeted tonus some fantastic accommodation options yet that were well within our budget. It is my very first safari to Kenya and Africa in general and I choose Africa Vacation Safaris over the other travel agencies I had contacted for this safari and for sure this was the best company to trust with my first ever Africa Safari.
