The session was good but I paid $80 to sit in regular with no extra benefit and I wonder why Viator charged that at the time of my purchase. I realized other sites do not charge that much. The driver that picked me up was friendly and so was the person who delivered my ticket to me at arrival in the venue.
The reviewer did not experience my business
Picked up exactly on time by Omar our driver from Delux tours and transported with expertise through the frenetic evening traffic of Cairo (although we were told it was quiet). Sit at the back and you can stand up and move around for filming or photos. The experience was marvellous and hearing the stories from the sphinx raised the hairs on the back of your neck when accompanied by the music. Well worth the experience made better by our transport laid on by Delux and booked through Viator
Our Guide Mahmoud badr and Driver Ihab were excellent. Mahmoud was knowledgeable, experienced, enthusiastic and clearly passionate about his subject. He got us there in good time so we had very good seats. Ihab is a very confident and capable driver who navigated the streets with confidence and aplomb. A winning combination.
My favourite part of the show was the lightning up of the pyramids. The lit up pyramids are a sight to behold. The content of the Sound and Light show is not really that great. The Guide Mr. Mahmoud badr And Mr. Ihab tried to be very helpful and were very nice.
Our guide Zanaty was great - very knowledgeable and friendly. The actual sound and light show was like something out of a 1970's movie - it really needs updating especially the voiceover! Overall, we got some nice nighttime pyramid photos but once you've been once you don't really need to go again!
Two Reviews in one: The guide - yes there was a guide, for what reason I do not know - was good, he was knowledgable and spoke several languages, cool. But now for the tour itself....one star It's places like this that buy out the Sound & Light show so normal people cannot purchase decently priced tickets from the sponsors own website. That's right, this is one of the companies that buys all the tickets, then resells them at a higher premium. They try to justify it with "transportation included" but that's 20 pounds for the group, not 20 USD per person. Then there's a guide, for no reason, gives a couple minutes worth of info on the way to the show, tries to sell you things after the show. I tried to contact the company afterward about their little operation, aka scam, but they didn't want to respond or accept their wrongdoings. just ignorance So, for that reason I leave this review
Thank you for taking time to review our services on Viator. What you booked is a complete private service from door to door. Including private car with driver, tickets and our representative to make your experience flawless and smooth. You were given the top notch service which we are known for it. We are writing this response not answering what you wrote because there is nothing against us only false information but to correct for the false information you are trying to give other travelers. Your review is misleading for other tourists because you either have no information or you are deliberately trying to mislead others. Tickets are available online and at the gate and price is published no tour operator has exclusivity to tickets. People traveling on budget can take several public transportation (microbuses or buses) with different stops to reach the place and lots of waiting but no taxi would accept 20 LE this is deceiving information.
It was really worth it to be at the pyramids at night. The show was beautiful and I really enjoyed every minute of it. It’s a bit chilly at night so take a jacket with you to be comfortable.

We had a lovely time enjoyed the show and highly recommended the tour company. We have already booked another trip from them. Ppl are very warm and welcoming.. especially the guide we had muhammad hasan.
I spent lovely few hours in Egyptian Museum with nice tour guide - Mahmoud. He has very good English and happily answered all my questions. The museum is great and with Nahmoud I had so much fun in there. Highly recomend.
