La Grande Pyramide de Gizeh est la plus grande pyramide égyptienne et la tombe du pharaon Khufu de la quatrième dynastie. Construit au 26ème siècle avant JC pendant une période d'environ 27 ans, c'est la plus ancienne des sept merveilles du monde antique, et la seule à rester en grande partie intacte.
La pyramide de Khafre ou de Chephren est la deuxième plus haute et la deuxième plus grande des 3 pyramides égyptiennes antiques de Gizeh et la tombe du pharaon de la quatrième dynastie Khafre, qui a régné c. 2558−2532 avant JC.
Un sphinx est une créature mythique avec la tête d'un humain, d'un faucon, d'un chat ou d'un mouton et le corps d'un lion avec les ailes d'un faucon. Dans la tradition grecque, le sphinx a une tête de femme, des hanches de lion et des ailes d'oiseau.
La pyramide de Menkaure est la plus petite des trois principales pyramides de Gizeh, située sur le plateau de Gizeh dans la périphérie sud-ouest du Caire, en Égypte. On pense qu'il a été construit pour servir de tombeau au pharaon égyptien Menkaure de la quatrième dynastie.

Saqqara, également orthographié Sakkara ou Saccara en anglais, est un village égyptien du gouvernorat de Gizeh, qui contient d'anciens cimetières de la royauté égyptienne, servant de nécropole à l'ancienne capitale égyptienne, Memphis.
La pyramide de Téti est une pyramide à flancs lisses située dans le champ pyramidal de Saqqara en Égypte. C'est la deuxième pyramide connue contenant des textes pyramidaux. Les fouilles ont révélé une pyramide satellite, deux pyramides de reines accompagnées de structures cultuelles, et un temple funéraire.
La pyramide de Djoser, ou pyramide de Step, est un site archéologique égyptien situé dans la nécropole de Saqqara, au nord-ouest de la ville de Memphis. La structure à 6 niveaux et 4 côtés est le plus ancien bâtiment colossal en pierre d'Égypte. Il a été construit au 27ème siècle avant JC sous la IIIème dynastie pour la sépulture du pharaon Djoser.

Ehab was our guide again for our second tour. This time we started at Saqqara, then went to Memphis and ended the day at the pyramids and Sphinx. Ehab again made some of the trickier parts of the tour easy. Ehab navigated purchasing all of the tickets. He helped us through long lines. He made a great recommendation to go into a tomb at Saqqara. He didn't come in, but organized a local guide to go with me as my husband was claustrophobic. I felt safe and looked after. He explained the history very well and answered all of my questions. Again, I did not feel rushed but we kept a good pace. Shopping was offered along the way . We declined some options, choosing only to go to the carpet school. There is a bit of pressure to buy something but instead I tipped the children who were at the school learning. Ehab was a great guide and knew just the right places to get photos. He also recommended a camel ride at the pyramids...don't miss this, even if it's just for a great souvenir picture. Again, I recommend this tour and Ehab. Be prepared to "grease the wheels" of the economy. Tipping, even a small amount, is a nice gesture to say thank you to people who help make your day go well. Eg camel driver, toilet attendant, local who takes a photo etc. Also tipping your driver and guide is customary and a nice thing to do. They work hard to give you a great experience.
