I spent two days touring with Sameh and was fortunate to be accompanied by such a knowledgeable and informative Egyptologist. We went at my own pace, taking time to answer all of my questions. At my request we did not visit the Bazar. Instead we enjoyed a relaxed lunch and lengthy conversation about life in modern day Egypt, Islamic history, and a host of other subjects. Our second day of touring included visits to the churches in Old Cairo and the Alabaster and Green mosques of the Citadel. The cost for a private tour seemed reasonable and was well worth it because it allowed me to enjoy the full attention of the guide and to go at my own pace. All admissions were covered as were my transfers to and from the airport. The driver was waiting for me even though my flight arrived very late at night and took me back to the airport at 3:00 a.m. to catch an early morning departure. Egypt Sunny Tours listened to my interests and customized this experience for me. They took care of all the arrangements and recommended a hotel that perfectly met my needs. Highly recommended!

We booked Khaled for a full day tour of the West Bank and East Bank. He was recommended to us by our fantastic guide in Cairo. Khaled picked us up promptly at 7am in very comfortable new car. What struck us immediately was that Khaled had a sense of humor and wouldn’t just be a guide, but also a fun and engaging teacher. We visited the Valley of the Kings and skipped Hatshepsut’s Temple and the Ramaseum. Instead we went to Habu Medinet based on Khalid’s recommendation and happy we did. Khalid gave us his expert and honest opinion on all the sights and it made our day all the more worthwhile. We also visited Karnak and Luxor Temples. There was no question Khaled couldn’t answer and he truly inspired us to learn more about Ancient Egypt. He also made a lot of great recommendations for shops and sights. Not in the upselling way, but out of a genuine and enthusiastic love for his hometown. The entire day we felt like we were hanging out with a friend who wanted us to have the best experience possible. My husband and I recommend him 10/10 and will absolutely have him as our guide when we come back to Egypt again to visit Alexandria and Aswan.

Me and my husband had a wonderful time from first moment we arrived to Luxor. Tarek (our tour guide/Egyptologist) was excellent, his knowledge and expertise was just perfect.
