Itinéraire
Nous allons à Punta Tombo, la plus grande colonie de manchots de Magellan en Amérique du Sud. Le voyage dure entre deux heures et deux heures et demie. Visitez Punta Tombo et promenez-vous parmi des milliers de manchots de Magellan. Vous verrez aussi des guanacos et des lièvres de Patagonie. (Nous serons à Punta Tombo pendant une heure à une heure et demie.) Ensuite, nous retournerons à Puerto Madryn. Si votre emploi du temps le permet, nous nous arrêterons à la plus grande réplique de dinosaures du monde pour des photos (15 minutes) et profiterons d'une visite de Puerto Madryn avant de vous déposer à la jetée (environ 30 minutes).

Sussanich Turismo did a great job of organizing this tour. They were in continual communication with me before the meet up, giving extremely specific directions (as well as a map) of where the tour guide would meet us. The group was small (20 persons), which gave a more intimate experience than one of the standard massive buses. The bus was immaculate, and air conditioned, with a bonus of USB ports at every seat. Andrea, our tour guide, was extremely well-versed in both the history and culture of Patagonia, as well as flora and fauna in the penguin rookery. The tour left and returned in a timely fashion, so we really did get 7 hours from a 7- hour tour. On the morning that our ship arrived, they sent me a text to let me know that as soon as we could get off of the ship, they were waiting. The packed lunch was very tasty, and huge. Two sandwiches, fruit, crackers, a cupcake, and a bottle of water. If I come back to Patagonia, I will most definitely book with them.

2 hour road trip each way but knowledgeable guide stopped it becoming boring. Lots of penguins and Guanaco easy to see and if you stop and look harder maybe like us you will see Rhea, Mara and lesser cavy. Great lunchbox

It was a long drive. That was the downside but it was worth it. We could see the penguins in their natural habitat and we could get pretty close to them. And we saw other wildlife too, some kind of llama type animals and I saw quite a few birds while we were travelling along.
